Drake's P.O.V.
I came home from college three weeks ago, right now I'm going around town on my skateboard.
Neveah is probably doing some last minute shopping at the mall.
My phone rang, I fished for it in my pocket.
"Drake!" My little brother, Timmy, said.
"Hey little man! What's up?"
"Mommy and Daddy said that they're going to Whindonesia! They left The she-witch with me but she left when a guy ate her mouth!" He couldn't pronounce Indonesia. Our parents are well known doctors so they're rarely home. But seriously, on Christmas?
"Okay little man, I'm gonna head home and how about we go to that chocolate shop near the pet store?" I asked him, I've been walking to the direction of our house ever since he said that mom and dad left. They could've gotten a better babysitter at least.
"Okay see ya! I'm gonna go put my coat on!" He said excitedly. Timmy's only seven but already in third grade. He skipped a grade like Angel, her and my sister are Seniors, she's supposed to be a junior but she was smart enough to skip. I'm older than Nev by two years and Angel by three.
I got to our street and saw Timmy already outside.
"Timmy! Why are you already outside? Someone might've taken you!" I pretended to scold him, he didn't know that though, he looked down and said sorry.
"It's okay little guy c'mon lets go get some chocolate ey?" I took his hand and lead him to the chocolate shop.

We were already inside the chocolate shop, they sold a lot of things here, as long as it had the word chocolate in it.
Since we came here a lot I already knew what Timmy wanted.
"Tim, you're a big boy right?" He nodded his head.
"Alright, go find us a table then wait for me okay?" I told him, he nodded eagerly then ran off to find us a table.
"Sir what would you like to have today?" The girl said in a bored tone, I rolled my eyes at her, at least I'm not the one who's working on Christmas.
"Two hot chocolates and a chocolate crepe." I handed her a twenty. With the amount of times Tim has dragged me here, I probably know almost everything in their menu.
"We'll serve it." I walked away, looking around to find Timmy.
There was a vacant table with Timmy's backpack on it but Timmy, nowhere to be found.
The next thing I hear is a crash outside the shop. I ran out, hoping that Timmy didn't cause anything.
I saw Timmy on the other side of the road, wide eyes and on the floor. He was looking at something in the middle of the street. I walked closer to Timmy to see if he was hurt, he was perfectly fine asides from the scraped knees and elbows.
I averted my eyes to the figure with a white coat in the middle of the road, a familiar mop of platinum white hair with black highlights. I ran to her Timmy by my side. Her legs were crushed under the car, she was bleeding like crazy, her hand was clutching on to the only necklace she ever wore.
"Angel! Angel! Wake up!" I shook her and slapped her, trying to wake her up.
"Angel!" Timmy yelled.
I placed her head on my lap while running my hands through her hair, tears were brimming in the corners of my eyes. She can't die.
"Someone call 911!" Timmy yelled to the crowd around us. I faintly hear someone at the back yell "I'm on it!"
"Sir! Please let her go! We have to check on her!" One of the medics yelled to me over the noise, the police got here a while ago and an ambulance just arrived.
"No! I'm staying!" I yelled but some of the police officers pulled me off her as a group of medics checked on her.
"Son listen to me!" One of the police officers said, I've been sitting on the pavement for the past two minutes looking at nothing.
I looked up at him, my face void of emotion.
"I've been in your spot before okay? Now go call Angelica's parents and her best friend okay?" He patted my on the back then left. Our town isn't that big or that small, it falls on the smaller side so almost everyone knew Angel.
I called her Mom first since she's always on her phone.
"Adelaide?" I gulped.
"Oh Hi Drake, how's it going?" She asked in a chirpy voice.
"Um Angel got into an accident." I said.
"What she forgot to change her pads again?" She asked jokingly, Angel's mother was always the happy and jokester kind so this was no surprise.
"No um she got run over by a car." Halfway through the sentence my voice became hoarse and cracked. It was quiet for awhile.
"You're not joking are you?" She asked in a broken voice.
"Sadly no." I said in barely a whisper.
"We'll meet you at the hospita-" Her voice cracked at the last part so she hung up.
I have to call my sister. I looked at my phone, I have to do it.
"Yellow?" She asked from the other end.
"N-nev, P-please c-come here, G-get a c-cab." I stuttered, great now she knows something's wrong.
"W-where are you? What's going on?" She asked, starting to panic
"Come to the second street after AV mall." I hung up on her, if I continued, I would've surely broke down.
I left Timmy with the medics, he knew what was going on so he stayed quiet. A minute later a cab pulled up behind me.
I was twisted around by my sister.
"What's going on?!?" My sister said looking panicked and confused.
"Timmy and Angel. They got into an accident." A look of terror passed in her eyes before she turned pale and fainted.
"Nice, faint right now Nev, it's the perfect fvckin' time." I muttered under my breath.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's been four hours since the accident our parents hopped on the earliest flight they could get and are headed here. Angel's parents are with us in the waiting room, Timmy fell asleep not long after we got here, the bandages on his elbows, arms, knees and legs stille there. Nev is still unconscious and is laying on a hospital pillow we borrowed beside me. Aunt Ade fell asleep about an hour ago and Uncle Thomas keeps waking up every thirty minutes to check if the doctors have something.
I haven't gotten any sleep, I mean if the girl you lo- cared for is in surgery I'm pretty sure you wouldn't sleep either.
I stayed awake for another hour before I fell asleep.
