Chapter 23

Thomas's POV
Me and Will had been looking at shock at the treehouse Danielle had been living in for about 2 years. "You lived here?" I asked in shock, her treehouse was way better than any other I have ever seen. "Yeah, after Bae left I built this to live in" she answered mindlessly looking around her old living space. "why didn't you stay in the place you slept before?" I heard Will ask from beside me. I looked over at him and then at Dani. She didn't look bothered but she was pretty good at hiding emotions. I slapped Will on the arm and whispered fiercely "Don't ask dumb questions, you know how she felt about Bae!" I looked over at Danielle again to see a small smile on her lips. Me and Will were just looking around when I noticed Danielle had stopped and was looking out the window with a haunted look on her face. "Dani are you alright?" I asked her noticing the looks she had just sent us. "Its fine" she said. She was obviously lying to us and I intend to find out why.
Danielle's POV
I came down from my treehouse with the boys trailing after me to find that Felix was gone along with the rest of the lost boys. I start heading back to camp when Thomas stops me. "Where do you think you're going?" he asks in his weird accent. "umm, back to camp" I said like it was obvious. "Look" he said "Pans not going to let us back unless we find whoever is on the island, now I suggest you tell us what shocked you so much in that treehouse or we will all be sleeping outside." Thomas said coldly. it was very strange for him because usually he is very happy and will joke with us but I guess this is the second in command in him kicking in. "Nothing I just got emotional, now if we want to find this guy we should probably ask hook" I said walking off in the direction of the beach. "Okay, but I still want to know what happened" Thomas said. Will being quiet through this finally spoke up. "You want , we want, you know what I want?" "what!" Thomas and I snapped at him. "whoa! I just want something to eat okay?" will said backing up. "Yeah... we just need to calm down and find something to eat" I said. I looked down at the ground to see the footprints of Chuck. I smashed them with my foot as a turned around and walked away hoisting my bow a little higher on my back. I was going to find Chuck with or without them.

Chucks POV
(Oooh Interesting!)
"So you won't hurt her?" I asked unsure weather I could trust him or not "you don't trust me?" he said like he could read my thoughts "I'm hurt" he mocked. "No really, you won't hurt a single hair on her head?" I was really concerned about this deal but it was the only thing that was keeping pan from killing me. "yes" he sighed " I won't hurt your precious Danielle but she will come here eventually and she will try and fight me for you" I knew that but by then we would both have what we wanted. I would have Danielle and a way off this island and he would have a way to defeat any enemy. " I don't think you should even be the one questioning me I'm the one who freed you, before I came along you were just tied up, helpless" he said turning slowly toward me. "Well since I have started training here I'm not as helpless" I said. "No your not, you're one of us now" he said looking straight at me now. "The thing is how will she feel about this, you know she doesn't like us." He said actually sounding concerned. "Danielle has hung with pirates before Captain, I'm sure she won't mind now"

Hey guys.... it's me! I know it's been a while but I have been caught up in school. I have been obsessing over some new fandoms so I needed to take care of that. I am now sick and feel horrible so don't get mad if it was a bad chapter. I also wanted to thank you for all the reads. We are just 50 away from 1k. I am not obsessed with reads I hope you know that. I was just shocked by all the reads. Okay I know my sentences are all over the place but my mind is full of snot and I feel like shiz so you have to forgive me.
