Chapter 37

Its been two years since I've been in a coma. Two goddamn years. Everyone has moved on. No one has visited me. Not even Ashley. I have been forgotten. I sighed. And started at the door. Waiting for anyone to come in and visit me. I sigh and stare at the door. Abra cadabra make someone open the door and greet me. Suddenly someone opens the door. Holy shit! I yell. It worked!! I see who it is and notice its Maria. I smile. She came back. She comes and sits down. She starts tellinge about everything that's happened. Everyone graduated already. The guys were getting ready for warped tour. Ashley said that if I didn't wake up in August he was going to let them disconnect me. I sigh. She told me on how Derek moved on. I sighed. I missed my chance. She told me how much she missed me and wanted me back. I smiled. Its been so long since anyone came to visit me and told me they missed me I thought. I started to cry. Then Maria got out a necklace. It was a key. She showed me that she had one that was a lock and said 'best' on it. I smiled at that. She bought a friendship necklace even though she doesn't know if I'll wake up. My key necklace says 'friends' I smile and start crying again. Then I felt myself being tugged. I got confused. I looked at my own body and saw that I had a tear rolling down my cheek. Finally! I thought. I left myself get pulled back into my body.
The next thing I felt was Maria putting on the necklace for me. I heard her gasp and wipe away my tear. I tried to move my fingers and I could. I couldn't help the over whelming feeling of joy. I was awake. Finally after two and a half years if my life I was finally awake. I slowly opened my eyes to see an overly excited Maria next to me. I smiled at her and she cheered. She asked if I needed anything and I tried to speak. Sadly nothing came out. I pointed to my throat and she nodded. She got me a cup of water and brought it to my lips. I drank all of it and thanked her. "Maria. Is it true?" "What is Ana?" "That Ashley was going to disconnect me." "...yea.. In three weeks he was going to." I nod. "I remember everything. How you came here the first time with your brother. How everyone was crowding me the first week then slowly left and after 6 months of me being in a coma only Ashley came to visit once a month. I see the girl with pink hair living at his home. Saw Derek with his girlfriend saw all my best friends in relationships. Saw you graduate and stand up for yourself." She started at me shocked. "How...?" I shrug. I really didn't know. I looked at the presents on the table. "Maria can you get a doctor while I open these gifts and see if there's a fresh set of clothes with under garments as well?" She nods and walks out. I open the gifts and see that Jazmine bought me pure under garments and Sierra had sent me shampoo soap and conditioner. Kierra had sent me hair dye, hair comb, and hair ties. I silently thanked them. Adrian had bought me a backpack. I smiled. it was the one I badly wanted of the avengers. I opened the rest and found that they were mostly clothes. I put most of it into the backpack except for a tank top of We Came As Romans, a pair of jeans, socks and my new white and black vans. I silently thanked them for buying me all of this and got myself ready to shower. The doctor came in before I even stood up. He checked me. I asked him to not tell anyone I was awake yet and he nodded. I asked Maria to do the same. I got into the restroom they had in my room and washed my hair. I dyed it the color Kierra sent me. Blue. I dyed my whole head blue. After forty five minutes of talking with maria I went to shower. Afterwards I put my clothes on and walked out. The doctor said I could be released that I just had to sign my release papers and it would all be good. I managed to convince Maria to lend me her phone. I messaged Jazmine to get everyone from PTV SWS BVB and BMTH including Sebastian and Adrian into Ashley's house. Jazmine agreed without asking questions. I grabbed my backpack, phone, charger, and lanyard and walked out with Maria. Maria messaged Derek to meet him at Ashley's ASAP and he relplied he was already there. She sent OK and we made our way there.
We made sure to walk extra slow to make sure everyone could get there ahead of us. Maria was in front of me and I was hidden behind her. She knocked and the girl with pink hair opened the door. She looked about my age the last time I saw her. Maybe we can be friends but then I heard Ashley yell "ANNA WHO IS IT?!" WAIT. Ana? I'm Ana. But I still stayed quite. "Its Maria." She moved out of the way but Maria refused. "Make a cemi circle around the door m shortest in the front. Tallest in the back please." They all did as told. "I have a special announcement!" She yelled. Everyone yelled with a chorus of what. "I want to introduce y'all to someone very important. But first turn around and shut your eyes." They all do as told. She stops hiding me and walks to the back. "Okay now turn back around with you eyes still closed. Do not open till the count of three. Okay. One. Two. THREE!" Everyone looks at me dumbfounded. The girl in still pink hair is the first to ask. "Who are you?" "I'm Ana. Anastasia Purdy." "No your not. I'm Annastasia." I look at her dumbfounded. I then look at my father. He tries to speak. I look at everyone else. Jazmine slowly approaches me as if I'm going to disappear if she makes any sudden movements. "Ana?!" I nod. She hugs me and soon everyone joins the hug. That is except for Derek, Anna, and Ashley.
