Chapter 20

"Good morning child of mine. Get ready to go shopping!!" I groned and rolled out of bed. I went into the bathroom and did my lady stuff and decided to go batman style. When I got out of my room I got a water bottle and apple. I ate that and put my phone, wallet, gum, small lyric book, pen, pencil, calculator (never know), my to go make up just in case, and sunglasses. I yelled at Ashley telling him I was ready. He came down and grabbed an apple and we headed out. "Wait I forgot my keys!!" I rushed in and grabbed my keys. I locked the door behind me and ran to catch up with Ashley. We got into the car and made small talk. We made it to Walmart in less then ten minutes. We agreed that I could get mechanical pencils instead of ordinary pencils. I went into my ordinary school shopping and I bumped into someone causing the person to drop everything. "Oh my god I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention. Here let me help you." I bent down to help pick up their stuff when I noticed it was school supplies as well. "School shopping last minute as well?" I asked. He just nodded. "Aren't ya gonna talk to me?" He looked at me for the first time. Damn he was fine. "What exactly do you want me to say?" "Uh.. Your name would be nice." I'm Derek. You are?" "Anastasia. Ana for short." "Nice to meet you Anastasia, but I have to get going. See you around?" "Uhh yea. See you." He waved goodbye and walked off. I turned around to see a very amused Ashley watching. "Oh.. Uh... Hi pa. You finished buying whatever you were going to buy?" "Yep. Now who was that kid?" "Who? What? Which kid. You know there's so many kids and stuff.." "The one that you knocked his stuff down" "ohh that one. Uhh. Well he's going to school as well and his name is Derek. That's about it. Oh and by the look of his shirt he likes rock bands. Other then that that's just about it." "Okay well your done so let go." "Kay" we went a payed. We went to the mall to buy me gauges that I've wanted for a while but I never wore any so I started with the smallest size 14. I forced Ashley to wear my sunglasses and put his hair up so we wouldn't get any attention which it worked. We went buy unnoticed. We got back home around 4 and the rest of the guys from BVB came over and gave me more things for school like backpacks journals lanyards and some non school items such as necklaces and then dad decided to give me a lot of clothes from his own clothes line. "Thanks dad. You sure are a big spender aren't ya?" We all laughed and by the time they left it was time for me to go to bed so I went and got ready for bed. I kissed my dad goodnight and went back to my room and slept. The rest of the week went by fast and next thing I knew it was the night before school started.
