Falling Apart

Chapter Nine

Alyssa's POV

Where is Matthew? I hadn't seen him after he snapped at me for saying no to dancing with him.

I find Hayes with Tori and walk over towards them

"Have you seen Matt anywhere?" I ask the two of them.

"No," Hayes answers.

"I can't find Grace either though," says Tori.

"Okay," I say. "Thanks."

I place one hand on my belly and take my third cup of sparkling water with me as I search for the bathrooms. Maybe he had to pee? Or take a dump? I don't know, maybe he is just is the guys' bathroom doing something.

After ten minutes of searching, me walking very slowly, I spot the bathrooms in the back of the building.

As I am walking, I hear noises coming from a closet. And as noises I meant moaning. Sick. Who would even do it here where there are a lot of people.

As I get closer I notice a voice. Grace. Is she doing it with Nash in there? Wow.

"Maaatttt," she moans out. Wait, what? That better not be my Matt.

I feel tears prick at the corner of my eyes when I hear his voice next.

"Sooo goooddd.. Ugh."

Tears start dripping down my face as I reach my shaky hand towards the handle of the door. Slowly, I open the door and it makes me cry even more.

They don't even notice me standing there with tears streaming down my face. They continue doing why they are doing.

How sick. My own best friend? The girl he cheated on me with last time before we got married?

I break into a sob and that's when they see me. Instantly, Grace starts putting her undergarments and dress back on and Matt has a shocked expression on his face.

"We're over," I tell and through the wedding ring that was on my finger at Matt's face, which he rubs afterwards.

"Alyssa-"

"Don't Alyssa me," I interrupt him.

"Let me explain-"

"No!" I scream at him. "I am tired of letting you explain everything to me! You have a boy and a girl on the way and you do frickle frackle with another girl?! How pathetic!"

I look at Grace. "And you.. You went behind my back just like he did. And you also cheated on Nash. Both of you are terrible people and you two are packing up and getting out of my house! I don't want-" I get cut off from liquid spilling on the floor. I look down to see it directly under me.

"Tell me that was my sparkling water," I say and Matt shakes his head, all of his clothes on.

There is a sharp pain in my lower stomach before I pass out and fall into someone else's arms.

Hayes's POV

I was worried about Matt and Grace being both gone so me and Tori went to look for them. We go to the bathrooms first and we see Alyssa yelling at Grace and Matt who are in a closet. Me and Tori hurry there because it is obvious what happened when Grace and Matt are all up on each other like that.

Just as I am ten feet away, Alyssa has liquid coming from her and I see her falling slowly. I run and catch her in my arms.

"Call an ambulance," I tell Tori and she hurriedly takes out her phone and types in the number. She looks so scared.
