"Hello and welcome to Tokyo, everyone. We are here today to discuss our plans on how we plan on solving the world's current problems. If you have a suggestion to make, please raise your hand. America-san will begin." Japan explained, before promptly sitting down, letting America stand up and start his 'speech', giving everyone his movie star smile.
Prussia heard everyone including himself groan. He slammed his head down on the desk and refused to look up.
Just why am I here again?
"Save yourself the hate and sit down, mon ami! Ohonhonhon!" France called out from the back, giving out a laugh.
America began talking as if he hadn't heard him, enthusiasm practically dripping from his voice as he began explaining in thorough detail about his GREAT idea of moving everyone in the world to Mars and using Earth as a resource mine, claiming it would happen in three years time.
Prussia perked up, listening to the American's talk in some interest through amusement. He remembered West saying something similar many centuries ago.
Bruder, do you think we could ever go to the stars above? We could create a bridge between our two worlds and travel between them! We could take things from the Earth and move them to the stars! I wonder what it must be like in the cosmos above...
All in all, the idea wasn't bad. They just needed some more time to advance to such a stage. He smiled, enjoying the childish excitement coming from the young man.
"I'm sorry to break it to you, lad, but we neither have the technology, knowledge nor resources to carry out such a large scale project. You're going to have to keep that one on standby for a few decades, or perhaps centuries. There's no we can do it in the space of three years! And what would be the point of going to Mars in the first place!" England pointed out, looking scornfully at the 'boy' presenting.
The former nation scowled at the thick-browed Brit. Arthur had his arms crossed at his chest, eyes gleaming at Alfred.
"I don't see why you can't grow up and look past these ludicrous ideas of yours! It disgusts me!" England growled, whilst America glared back in defiance, standing ground.
"Hey, it was just a suggestion, and probably be the most awesome we're going to have all day! If everyone's going to do the same sheisse on paper, it's going to be boring. What's wrong with someone being different and making things more awesome?"
Everyone's head whipped around to see Prussia standing up, eyes pointing daggers at the Englishman. Arthur raised an eyebrow, not expecting someone helping the dolt, especially Prussia of all people.
"World Meetings are serious discussions about the world that shouldn't be taken lightly. We can't have him come up every session blathering nonsense about some super-hero saving the world! It's a waste of precious time we simply don't have! Every second that passes is another person dying from the mistakes made by decisions we've made, we need this time in order to give ourselves a self-assessment and correct ourselves, as well as keep up with other nations. World meetings were made to keep a nation is in check and ensure it is heading down the right path, not to have comedic performances to entertain ourselves!" The Englishman exclaimed in exasperation.
He was at the edge of his seat, shooting a seething glare at the ex-nation, looking like the ritual he had practiced for many centuries had been disrupted. Prussia frowned at this, slightly taken aback.
What happened to all those world meetings before... when we messed around and got into fights with every nation in the room? Where we used to have beer drinking contests and sent bulls rampaging across the room? When did this all change? Why is everyone so serious!?
