Marie's POV

It's been a whole three days of training. After what happened to Jeff, Slenderman left me to train with people I hang out with more than I do with Jeff. Sally was supposed to be today, but I was given Ticci-Toby instead. "I told Sally not to play in the rain," I said calmly as me and Ticci-Toby walked down the path back home.
Fall came around and I was freezing thanks to the pond. "That's what Sally does," Ticci-Toby said, playing with a leaf that fell on his head, "She likes to play."
I shrugged and glanced at him. His scratches were deeper than I thought they were. "Sorry about the cuts, Ticci-Toby," I apologized, shivering as the breeze came by.
He looked down and, by guessing at his mouthguard, smiled. "Don't mention it," he replied, " And call me Toby."
I smiled and nodded. "Okay, Toby," I said happily, surprised by my sudden change in tone.
Toby smiled at me, his mouthguard moving with him. I couldn't help but blush a tiny bit. I turned away, still blushing a little. I felt my stomach feel weird. Why am I acting like this?

Ticci-Toby's POV

She looked away. I saw her blush a little. It was adorable. I mentally slapped myself in the face. What's wrong with me? Why am I thinking like that? She probably doesn't even feel the same. We walked in silence for some time. Suddenly, something popped into my head. "What's your name going to be?" I asked, looking at Marie.
She turned to me, confused. "What do you mean?" she asked.
I looked ahead and replied, "You know how I'm named Ticci-Toby? What's your name going to be? It can't be your real name because you'll get caught when you go places. So what's your killer name going to be?"
She looked up, thinking for a bit. Then, she smiled and turned to me. "I shall be known as," she started. She pretended to take off a hat and bowed. "Madam Hatter!" she exclaimed, her smile shining.
I couldn't help but smile. "Okay," I said, trying not to laugh at her sudden change of attitude, "what would you do, Madam Hatter?"
She smiled and pretended to put the hat back on. "I shall have a little tea party with my lovely victims!" she happily sang as she started to skip around me, "Oh, what a grand time we will have! Their smiles are going to shine forever along with other guests!"
I laughed while she continued to skip. She stopped in front of me and pretended to hand me something. "Would you like a cup of tea, good sir?" she asked in a goofy voice.
"Don't mind if I do, Madam," I replied, pretending to drink the tea.
We laughed as we continue to walk home. Probably the most fun I ever had. Even better since it was with Marie.
