I really like this song, All Time Low by John Bellion, and I feel like it's very Cherik and I decided to make it an imagine.

I was the knight in shining armour in your movie |Would put your lips on mine and love the aftertaste

"Morning, Erik," Raven called from the stove. She wasn't ever very good at cooking, but she was the best out of the rag tag group that had arrived at the Xavier Estate three weeks prior. Erik nodded at her as a response and took his seat at the table. Alex and Sean were both half asleep, shoveling cereal and toast into their mouths.

"Good morning, boys." Charles' voice came from behind Erik and Erik tipped his head back. Charles bent his head to kiss Erik. It lasted only a few seconds, but when Charles pulled away, Erik licked his lips, the taste of peppermint and Charles waking him up.

I'm a ghost I call your name, you look right through me You're the reason I'm alone and masturbate

Erik groaned, trying to find some comfortable position on the motel bed. He missed Charles lying next to him, the head radiating off him like a fire.

"Charles," Erik thought hard and he could feel Charles hear it, but ignore him. It didn't pain  him as much as scare him. It terrified him to know that Charles didn't want to hear from him. As Erik finally started to fall asleep, images of Charles filled his sleep deprived brain. Charles lying beneath him, sweating. Charles asleep in the bed next to him. Charles bent over a table. The feeling of Charles' lips against his. Charles. The feeling diffused around Erik and he sighed. Charles.

I've been trying to fix my pride but that shits broken,That shits broken | Lie Lie Lie Lie I try to hide but now you know it

"Please, Charles." Hank shut the door in Erik's face and he almost screamed in frustration. He wanted to fix it, but he screwed it up, again. Nothing ever seemed to work, he tried to see Charles' view, tried to explain his own to Charles, but the man refused to see him. He even tried lying, tried to tell Hank that he understood and he wanted to be back. He wanted Charles back, he would do anything.

"Please." An upstairs curtain opened and Charles looked down at the man, who walked away from the house, eyes on the ground.

That I'm at an All Time Low Low Low Low

Erik stared at the gates and for the first time since he fell in love with Charles, the day he moved the satellite, he cried. He wanted Charles so badly, he cried for Charles. He cried for missing Charles and he even cried for Charles' cause. Erik had never known anyone to be as stubborn as himself until he met Charles. He'd never known anyone to be so selfless until he met Charles. Now Charles was turning into him. Charles was loosing all the things about himself that Erik loved, and nothing made Erik sadder. He wished he'd never been that stubborn or he'd never thought of himself as better than Charles. Suddenly there was running and the front gate flew open. Charles was standing there, ragged and red faced.

"You will never understand," Charles panted, "How much worse it was for me."  And then he was gone.
