"Hello, Dean."
"Shit! Cas, you've gotta stop doing that!" I exclaimed, hitting him over the head.
"I'm sorry." The angel hung his head and I smiled at his pouty face.
"S'okay, babe." His blue eyes smiled at mine and he hugged me, his hands meeting around my back. I smiled into his hair pull away for a quick kiss.
"Can you not PDA in the kitchen?" Sam asked, getting up from the table and walking out.
"Can you and Gabe not PDA in the middle of the night, when I can hear you next door?!" I yelled after him.
"IN MY ROOM MAKES IT NOT PUBLIC!" Sam yelled back. I turned back to Cas and smile at him.
"Wanna watch TV? Sammy and I just got back from a hunt and I need some down time." He nodded, looking a little bit tired himself.
"How's the whole 'fixing heaven' thing going?" I asked, just trying to make conversation.
"It's... going. Fights are still breaking out everyday, but the angels are quickly seeing who's in charge."
"So, how's the king doing on his throne?" I asked, dropping into the couch. Cas took a seat next to me and let me put my arm around his shoulders.
"Joshua is doing better than I assumed he would." We both went silent as the tv turned on. Some random rom-com was on and a guy was proposing to his girlfriend. It continued to play in the background while I went through the TV guide to see of anything good was on. We ended up 'watching' a random drama show while we cuddled and made out on the couch, but directly after Cas hugged me one last time before flying out. Leaving me cold and alone on the couch, watching something called Pretty Little Liars in the dark.
The next time I saw Cas was a week later. I woke up when I felt eyes on me.
"Fuck! Cas we just talked about this!" I exclaimed, secretly happy that he came back. After that thought crossed my mind I realized what Cas was holding and I jumped out of bed. In his outstretched hand was a black velvet box with a plain golden ring in it.
"I believe this is the human was of consummation?"
