Chapter 21

I drove Rachel and I home, I pulled into the driveway and saw two familiar faces in the front lawn holding each other.

"Mom! Dad!" Rachel yelled as she got out and ran into their arms, I smiled and got out, "Are you guys okay" Mrs. Brown asked us.

I nodded, "Where are your parents?" Mr. Brown asked me. "They didn't make it" I said plainly. "Oh my god, I am so sorry" he pulled me into a hug as they cried since my parents were good friends with them.

"Its fine" I smiled slightly before letting Rachel continue talking since they just got reunited. I went in and went over to Calum, "What am I going to do?" I asked since he was gonna go on tour soon.

"I don't know.." he sighed pulling me in a hug as his manager walked in the door. "Hey Samantha, Calum, I am so sorry about your parents" he said walking over.

"Thanks" Calum smiled slightly as he gave us both a hug. "So do where are you going to live then?" he looked at me. I shrugged sighing.

"How about you come on tour with us, my treat" He smiled. I looked over at him not believing him. "I mean where else are you going to go" he said not rudely though.

"True" I laughed slightly. "But I am serious you can come on tour, stay in the tour bus and everything. "How does that sound?" he smiled. "Sounds great" I laughed smiling as I hugged him.

We all brought up our suitcases, I was picking clothes off of the floor and putting them in my suitcase since my closet was destroyed.

I was moving things around to fit everything in my two suitcases when I could hear the manager, John and some woman talking in the hallway.

"How did it go at the doctors" he asked, "They said no..." she sighed. "So you can't produce kids at all?" he asked. "No" she said. "There is always adoption" she sounded hopeful.

He sighed, but agreed with her. "You guys are thinking to adopt?" I asked walking out. "Sorry.. I just overheard you saying something about adoption" I lied slightly.

She nodded, "I know a little girl you guys might like" I smiled. "Can we meet her?" she asked her face lighting up. "She is the orphanage downtown" I told them.

"I can come with you guys" I offered as the husband still said nothing. "Please" she smiled and we all walked downstairs and got in their car.

When we arrived the lady was practically pulling me to the door she was so excited, "SAM!" I heard my name being yelled as I turned right and saw Ruby running to me.

I caught her in my arms , picking her up and swung her around hugging her. "Ruby I want you to meet two very lovely people" I smiled holding her hand bringing her over to John and Cierra.

"Hello!" Cierra smiled kneeling down, "Hi." Ruby smiled. John smiled slightly to her, we stayed for about two hours playing with her mostly so they could get to know her.

"What do you think about us adopting you?" Cierra asking Ruby about her and John, she looked over at me then back at them, "Really?" her eyes grew big.

Cierra nodded, Ruby smiled and hugged her as Cierra picked her up and brought her to the front to fill out papers.
