(Benson)

My eyes flicked over the papers scattered over my desk, my hand was covering my mouth as I thought about them. Worry had long since taken root in my head as I looked over the papers once again, my eyes never leaving them even as David walked into the room.

"Benson, has Todd eaten anything yet?" Finally dragging my eyes from the papers I looked at my brother, his curious expression turning confused when he noticed the serious look on my face.

"What's wrong?" Pressing my lips together I gestured to the papers, "Jackson's file has food all over it." He squinted at me, "What? Food?" Curling the side of my lip up I nodded and looked down at the smudges of food. David walked over to me and looked at the messy papers, "Is that peanut butter?" I nodded again and pushed the papers out a bit.

"Yeah, the scent cloth is missing as well." David picked the paper up and sniffed at it, his eyes narrowing, "Serena. Why would she be going through our files?" I looked up at him and sighed, shaking my head.

"Lucy use to read our files as well until we started to lock the door. She's probably just curious about our work." My brother sighed and sat on the desk beside me, "We'll need to talk to her about going through the pack's files. She's going to come across something she shouldn't one of these days." My eyes flashed up to him and I leaned back rubbing my face.

"She's already found something she shouldn't have... Todd ate while you were dropping the kids off at the school. He's rather energetic now, out back flying around the-" My voice cut off by the heavy thud against window behind me, spinning my chair around I looked at the closed blinds as they shook with the sound.

Pulling back the blinds my eyes widened when the mess of blond hair was splayed around Laurence's face smashed into the window. "What the fuck?" David's mumbled reached me as the wizard slid down the window and landed on the ground. My eyes flicked to Todd standing in the middle of the yard laughing, "Come on. We should see what he's here for." Humming I followed David through the house and into the backyard.

David and I walked over to Todd as Laurence stood up and brushed his robes off, "Having a smashing day, Laurence?" I shot a glare at David as Todd went into another fit of laughter, Laurence snorted and laughed mockingly.

"Oh ha ha, very funny. I don't normally use teleportation mid-flight. I wasn't expecting to be so close to the house." He turned to look up at the window he had hit, as he turned around he rubbed his nose grunting slightly. "What brings you here?" The wizard looked at me and placed his hands on his hips, "Your children bring me here Alpha Benson." My eyes narrowed and Todd's laughter stopped short.

"What?" The wizard glanced at Todd and ran his hand through his messy hair, "Mrs. Roxe has asked me to fill the teaching position for Potions & Elements class at the school. Your children neglected to show up today, and I've been sent with the urgent message from Mrs. Roxe to inform you that all three of your kids, are missing." I nearly felt my heart stop at his words, my bond with Todd wavered heavily with sudden fear.

Looking down I caught the expression on my mate's face, "What?" He repeated the word, much quieter this time. David glanced at me and motioned to Laurence as he pulled our mate into his chest for comfort. Turning I walked up to the blond man calmly, his words not having time to sink in just yet.

"Why wouldn't Jesse bring this information to us herself?" He looked up at me and frowned before looking down, "She's trying to find them. She sent me because of my ability to teleport long distances. Chester reported being unable to find Jay after their lunch period, Jay had said he needed to go to the bathroom and disappeared. Serena and Cato vanished at the same time, there was one student that said she saw them leaving school grounds."
