I was eating, I was always eating. There was always some kind of fatty, sugar filled, salty item of food in my hands. It was also the middle of the night and I found myself unable to sleep.

 I was exhausted, our human guest has managed to not become a burden to the pack but his two week stay had turned into a month long stay. The pack seemed to have taken a liking to the man, he had a sense of humor and he respected our ways. I had gotten over my uneasiness around him, Ronald believes I was just cautious because of the babies. New faces make me uncomfortable.

 My eyes scanned over the book I held in my hand, the long list of baby names. Benson and David had suggested each of us name one child, and they chose names as soon as the genders were called. Two boys and girl. I was the only one undecided. Benson chose Cato Nathaniel Sivilian for one of the boys, David picked Serena Elizabeth Sivilian for our girl, and I have.. nothing so far. I just couldn't find one that stuck, I wanted to see my little boy before I picked a name.

 Shoving the last of my sugar covered toast I licked my fingers and tossed the book on the coffee table next to me.

 Looking over at the bed with David and Benson in it I smiled at them. David was on his back with a pillow over his face, Benson was on his stomach with one arm tucked under his chest and the other thrown over David's chest.

 I was sitting on the couch at the foot of the bed with my back on the armrest. Looking back at the muted tv sitting on the dressers I watched the pictures flick over the screen and rubbed my large stomach.

 Thinking back to last week when Laurence had come by to inform me that when the babies were born they would be much more developed than regular births. Do to the fact I was male and couldn't make milk, he had made it so the children would be grown just strong enough to survive without the milk. He also informed us they would grow at a faster rate until their bodies made the change for the first time, then and only then will their growth be slowed to a normal rate. I had asked how we would know when the time came to give birth, and was met with a simple vague response of "You'll know."

 For all Laurence has done for me I still didn't like him, but I was grateful for his help. I knew he was only helping because he saw me as a test subject for his parasite project.

 A sharp kick in my belly made me flinch, grunting slightly I chuckled "Lively aren't you? You're going to be nocturnal, I can tell already." My voice came out soft and quiet as I stared at the tv, resting my head on the couch and flipping through the channels randomly. Another sharp kick made me gasp in shock, my hand moved to the area and the movement increased.

 Humming softly a random tune I stood up and grabbed the plate I had on the floor heading out of the room.

 Carefully making my way through the large house and into the kitchen I set the plate in the sink and turned to go back when my eyes caught sight of the human Dr. sitting at the table with papers scattered out in front of him.

 Moving to the doorway I watching him looking at his lap top and scribbling notes down quickly mumbling to himself.

 Glancing at the clock I cleared my throat making him jump and drop his pencil, his blood shot eyes turned up to me and he stuttered over words standing up and bowing to me slightly. I nodded at him and gave him a soft smile, "What are you doing? Its early morning." He pushed his hand into his hair and smiled tiredly at me.
