I walked into Starbucks and looked for Lou. I searched the little cafe, and  I spotted him on his phone, sitting across the small building, and got in line. I got a chocolate american macchiato and sat down

"Hi Lou." I said, taking a seat in the small lawn chair like seating at the table.

"Hey Dakota." He said back, taking a sip of his drink. "What did you get?" He asked kindly.

"A chocolate american macchiato, you?"

"Just a plain coffee, I don't do, chocolate in my coffee,'' He made a face of discust at my chocolate drink.

"Shut up." I glared at him and he put his hands up. I could tell he was about to say something back to me, but another came over to our table and Lou stood up and gave him a hug and quick kiss before sitting down again, the other guy pulled up another chair and sat next to Lou.

"Hey babe."

"Hey babe." The guy said back. I looked back at him, and he looked vaguely firmiliar. I could've sworn I had seen him before.

"Jeremy?" I said squinting my eyes at him. He looked just like a guy I used to know.

"Dakota?" He said confused back.

"Oh my god it's so good to see you!" I got up to give him a hug. He wrapped his arm around me and I remembered all the things we did when we were younger.

"Yes hun! I've missed you so much!"

"Same! I didn't know you went here?"

"You didn't know? I didn't know you went here!"

"Hey, I hate to break up the love fest, but I'm lost." Lou said, looking at us confused.

"Oh, sorry Lou, it's just Jeremy and I knew each other when we were kids, and we have'nt seen each other in such a long time. That must be weird for you." I finished y sentence with a sheepish look on my face.

"It's ok, but, how do you guys know each other?"

"We grew up down he street from each other."

"Oh."

"Yeah, our moms worked together and were good friends.'' Jeremy explained

"Pretty much." I added on.

"That's a little weird." Lou said beofunded. We continued to talk about Lou and Jeremy's relationship, Jeremy and I caught up, and just about what was going on in general for a long time.

'Hey do u wanna go early? I kinda have something planned for us.'

'Sure, I'm @ the Starbucks at Maine and Fourth.' I texted back.

'Cool, I'm be there in 5,'

'Ok, I'll see you soon.'

':)'

"Hey guys, I kinda have to get going, sorry. It was good to see you again Jeremy and it was fun getting to know you Lou."

"Ok, but why?" Jeremy asked.

"I have a date tonight."

"With whom?" He said back all practicle, sort of like how my father would say it.

"No one................." I said shyly.

"What are you talking about?" Lou got a little worked up over this. "Jack Harries isn't no one!"

"You have a date with Jack Harries?" Jeremy exclaimed, a little too loud.

"Jesus Jeremy......" I said, looking around the cafe to see if anyone was looking at us.

"Sorry. That's just awesome news!"

"It won't be awesome if I'm deaf by the time he gets here."

"Jesus Christ, I said I was sorry." He looked down all sad like.

"Awe, I'm sorry J, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Forgive me?" I said making a puppy dog face. He sighed,

"Fine, I think I can."

"Good." I smiled at him, taking a sip of my coffee drink.

"Yeah whatever." He sighed, leaning his head on Lou's shoulder and Lou kissed his head and smiled. I smiled at them and heard the door open behind me. I turned around and saw as Jack walked into the Starbucks, and waved to me. I smiled and got up, walking over to him. I said goodbye to Lou and Jeremy, who were trying to "play it cool" around the "sex god" of the school. I walked up to Jack, throwing my empty coffee in the garabage can by the door.

"Hello Dakota." He smiled and pulled me into a hug. I took in his minty scent off of his navy blue tee shirt.

"Hi Jack."

"Are you ready?" he asked as he pulled away from our hug.

"Yeah. Let's go." Jack put his hand on my lower back and led me out of the small building, the London sun hung low in the sky.

Hey guys, I know this was just a boring filler, but I'm not perfect. I can't make every chapter dramatic and exciting, but keep reading for better writing!
