Dakota's POV
I woke up and looked around my room, then remembering Jack leaving yesterday. I heard my phone ring, with Jacks ringtone. I picked up and said,
"Hey babe."
"Good morning." He said in a husky morning voice. I chuckled getting up. "What's so funny?"
"You." I giggled.
"I know, I know, I'm frikin hilarious." He said, "I love you."
"Love you more." I whispered.
"I love you most." I swear I could hear him smiling. "So what do you want to do today?"
"Hmm, can we go to the zoo?"
"Do you have class today?"
"Nope, not till tomorrow."
"Cool, let me get dressed then I'll head over.
"Sounds like a plan." Jack said before hanging up. I walked into my closet and looked through
y clothes. While looking I started singing Titanium,
'I'm bullet proof,
Nothing to loose,
Fire away, fire away,
Shoot me down
But I won't fall,
I am Titamnium.'
I stopped singing because I heard my phone go off. I walked over to get my phone and picked it up, saying
"Hello?"
"Hey little sister." My brother Patrick said.
"Hey big brother." I chuckled back.
"Hey I'm in town this week."
"What's the occasion?"
"I'm visiting some friends from college who live here."
"So in other words you mean Jamie?"
"Uh, no, what are you talking about." I could hear the nervousness in his voice.
"Ok whatever you say."
"Yeah, but I figured the two of us could meet up later." He said nicely. See, me and my brother are super close, I could hang out and not be weirded out that he's my brother.
"Sounds cool. How about Tuesday?"
"Sure sounds good. Adios."
"Au Revoir." I chuckled and hung up, going back into my closet. I searched my clothes, finally pulling out, dark skinny jeans, a black long-sleeve, and white vans. I texted Jack saying I was in my way. I looked at my self in the mirror, deciding something was missing. I pulled on a grey beanie and quickly straightened my hair, grabbing my black iPhone and heading out the door.
I walked to Jacks dorm and knocked loudly, just to annoy him. He came to the door and cocked an eye brow at me.
"Really?"
"Really." I winked at him. He chuckled and walk out the door, and grabbing my hand. When we got to the zoo, I got a good look at what he was wearing. A simple white tee, under a red zip-up, white light jeans and black Adidas. Nothing fancy, just simple, the way I liked it.
When we got in, we went to the butterfly house. I pretty one landed on the back of Jacks hoodie and I tweeted a picture.
@dakotalove: @Jacksgap, should I be jealous?
After that we went to the penguin place. It smelled awful in there.
Next, the tigers. Jack whipped out his phone and took a picture of me next to the tiger, growling. I was growling not the tigers. Don't judge. I knew he was tweeting it. Whatever.
After the tigers, we saw the camels. It was a little gross, I saw one of them spit on another.
We spent at least 15 minuets talking about how gross it is when camels spit. After our rant, we saw a few more things (prairie dogs, lions, giraffes, flamingos.) before eating at the zoo cafe. I ordered a hotdog and Jack ordered a slice of pizza. We sat a d a couple of girls came to us, and they all looked like Barbie. They were fanning over Jack and one said,
"Can we get a picture." She had a nasial voice, totally fake hair straightened to the point wherein looked un-real. Her tiny miny skirt (and I mean tiny) barely covered her fake butt. Her oink crop top discusted me that I thought I was gonna puke and her stilettos were gold and covered in gold and spikes. I looked at the other girls, although a little less gross, they looked relatively the same. I guessed the girl who asked for a picture as the queen bee. The girls handed me like 7 iPhones, and one by one, I took pictures. When I was done, I saw the queen bee, give Jack a slip of paper, which obviously had her number on it. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and walked off, her badonkadonk swinging the whole way. Her friends looked at Jack and me, and as Jack walked back to my side, he ripped the piece of paper into millions of pieces, dropped it on the ground and gave me a kiss in front of them.
The girls gasped, and we pulled away, looking at the girl, who were sending me daggers. He chuckled and said,
"Sorry girls, but I'm taken." I smirked at them. He grabbed my hand and walked past them. All of them were looking at me with discusted faces. The queen said as I walked by
"He'll leave you. Your not worth it you fat brat." She smirked formed on her fake lips. I didn't even look at her as we passed. But when we got out of hearing range, I broke down and cried. Jack immediately turned to me and pulled me into a warm embrace. He lead me into the uni-sex bathroom, picked me up and set me on the counter. He placed hands on the side of each of my legs and said looking straight at me,
"What did she say?"
"She, she, she said, you, you, you w-w-would leave me. Because I'm f-f-fat and w-w-worthless." I said, in hysterics. Jack sighed, putting his arms around me, and as I closed me eyes, rubbing comforting circles on my back, while I cried.
"Shhhhhh, you can't listen to her. She's just jealous that I have the worlds most amazing girlfriend and she's all alone with her bands of fakes." He said, and by the end of that sentence he had pulled away and was wiping my tears away with his thumbs. I opened my eyes and Jack was smiling at me. I smiled back, letting one more tear fall down my face. He kissed my face where the tear was, making it go away. I wrapped my arms around his neck before kissing him. He kissed back, and it was perfect. It made me think of a song lyric
'It's a new day, it's a new life, and I'm feelin good."
