Chatting with Leon was the best thing that could happen to me in my life, it brought me peace somehow just to be open with someone. It felt liberating. "You were right, your mother's restaurant is the best."

I moaned with my eyes closed as I pulled the fork out of my mouth and munched on the food. "Oh my god. Is that taco con carnitas, oh lord." I moaned at the sight of food walking past me and sniffed the air, humming in delight.

"You're going to eat anything at this rate." Leon said with a smile as he stared at me in amusement and I frown my lips in a pout as I glared at him.

"I can't help it, this food is amazing." We laughed and joked around, he introduced me to his mother who was friendly and happy to know that I grew up with the Mexican culture even though I was an American.

"Your mother is quite friendly." I told him as he walked me toward my car and opened the door for me. "Thanks." I got inside and started the engine as he closed the door for me. I opened the window and he leaned down on the door.

"Take my advice, talk to him about your feelings." He patted the door before pulling away. "See you soon? We can meet up again here if you like, me casa es tu casa." I smiled at him and shook my head as he walked backwards, giving me a chance to get out of the parking lot.

"You're fun to hang around with, see you soon. And I'll think about your advice." I closed the window and turned on the air condition as I drove home. My phone started to ring and I connected it on my car. "Mom?"

"Hey honey, your father and I are going to stay with your abuela, she's at the hospital. Don't panic, she's fine. She was just a bit dehydrated." I sighed in relief at that and ran a shaky hand through my hair. "We'll be back tomorrow, remember to lock the doors. I love you."

"I love you too mom, tell the abuela that I love her okay and greet dad for me okay, tell him I sent kisses." We said our goodbyes and hung up the phone. I slowed down in front of my house and pressed the garage door open.

I drove inside the garage and pressed the door close, turning off the engine. I grabbed my bag and opened the door, slamming it close with a lock sound before walking toward the side door, unlocking it.

I walked inside and locked the door, turning on the lights as I made my way in the kitchen. I poured myself a glass of orange juice and put the glass in the sink, washing it. I dried off my hands and walked out of the kitchen, turning off the lights but not before checking all the doors and windows before heading upstairs.

I closed my bedroom door and locked it, dumping my bag on my nightstand before sitting on the bed taking my heels off and gave my feet a massage. I picked up my heels as I stood up and walked toward my closet, putting them next to the line of heels.

I walked toward my balcony and slid the door open, walking out. I sat down on the bed and looked up at the sky, the stars shinning next to the moon. I unbuttoned my jeans and zipped it down but didn't remove it.
