(19) Kara Knightly

It's been more than twelve hours and she was still in the same state she was in, she didn't move a finger. Kieran was by her side like a plague, he didn't want to leave her alone, not until she wakes up. "Baby please, wake up." I opened my eyes at that and looked at Kieran that was touching her face.

"This is my entire fault." He hovered over her and hugged her tightly as he cried out. I stood up from the sofa and walked toward him, placing my hand on his back.

"It's not your fault Kieran, she......" I stopped talking when she said my name and sat next to her as Kieran pulled away from her. "Are you okay honey? How are you feeling?" She blinked her eyes dazed and tried to sit up.

"What happened to me? My head really hurts, it feels like I've been hit there with a fist multiple times." I helped her sat up as she clutched at her head and whined in pain. "I have a headache the size of China."

"Yeah, the doctor said it would be normal. You hit your head several times when you rolled down the stairs." I ran my hand across her face and pushed her hair behind her ear. "Are you okay? Do you want me to let Kieran get you some aspirin for the headache?"

She frowned at that and put space between us with a confused look on her face. "No, I'm fine. Who's Kieran?" She swung the covers off of her and got up. "I can't believe I slept through the whole party! Ugh! The snacks looked good."

I turned to look at Kieran confused and then back at Carolyn. "Are you sure you're okay?" I asked her again worried about her behavior.

"I'm fine? I think, anyways. I feel energetic I can run a marathon I feel weird. Am I bubbly like this? I feel stupid." She rambled as she paced around and I raised my eyebrows, my gaze turning to Kieran. She gasped deeply and widened her eyes. "Oh my god, my mom must be worried sick. I need to go home, thanks for everything Kara."

She pulled me roughly toward her and hugged me tightly. "Honey you can't leave, we need to make sure that you're okay." She pulled away from me and headed toward Kieran.

"I don't know you but thank you." She pulled Kieran into a hug and pushed him away with a gasp. "What was that? You can't go around electrifying people!" She looked at Kieran with a scowl and accusingly. "Who do you think you are?" She dug her finger at her chest and a hand on her hip.

"Speak! No te quedes callado habla!" She put both hands on her hips as she patted one foot down impatiently. "Ay si claro, ahora se queda callado el señor, muy ofendido no." Kieran smiled at her but it only made her angrier. "Oh, now you're mocking me, freaking-tastic!"

"I'll leave you too alone." I walked toward the door and got out, closing it behind me. I hope these too don't kill each other. I shook my head and walked toward our room, ugh. How much I hated that word now.

I opened the room and got in, ignoring Karoo who was lying on the bed and went to the closet to grab my suitcase. "Are you kidding me? What are you doing?" I ignored him and unzipped the suitcase, walking back toward the closet to pick my clothes.
