All the parents were so confused, not knowing what to do.
After finding out that the children they raised had been going to a monstrous place every night.. if one of them had nearly died, would their child be next?..
"What are we supposed to do in this situation.." aidens dad asked shakily as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Well.. I suppose, we can start by believing them." Logan's grandfather started, avoiding to look at you.. for some reason. "It's a hard pill to swallow, but we all must've saw what happened moments ago.."
"To try and pretend we didn't see any of that.. it would make us all some really pathetic parents.. wouldn't you agree?"
"If everything said is true.. then these kids have been through hell and back together. I'm surprised some of them had lasted this long on their own."
All the parents looked hesitant or guilty, as if a dark shadow had clouded their minds..
"But given what they told us so far- are we even able to help?" Bens mom commented as she held lily. "And why are we just starting to see the same things?"

After awhile everyone was in Tylers recovery room, around the hospital bed. Aiden was sitting on the railing of the bed as Ben was standing next to him, both Logan and Taylor were sitting on stools as you were stood behind Taylor leaning against the window..
Ashlyn ran through the door panting slightly and you all looked up from Tyler to see her.
"Oh, it's Ash!" Aiden commented happily
Ashlyn stepped forward, then continued walking until she was infront of Tyler, there was an air of hesitance as everyone watched Ashlyn struggle for words in her mind..
"I-... Im Sorry.." ashlyn apologised.. Tyler looked away for a moment then said.
"Not your fault."
"So stop acting Mopey, Carrot-Top."
You suppressed a laugh as he made a nickname for ashlyn, knowing that the pause of silence was needed before Ashlyn just raised her eyebrow.
"What." She stated, offended.
"Your hair's orange, so im calling you Carrot-Top from now on." -Tyler
"No. You aren't." -Ashlyn
"Too late. Already made my mind up." -Tyler
Ashlyn sighed, but left it. As you and Taylor laughed together slightly, the light of morning impressing you, especially for winter once you looked outside.
Once this is all over.. once this is done. Once You're done. Ill let you rest with that House.
