Blinking his heavy eyes open,seokjin wasn't what hoseok thought he'd come face to face at all.
He tried to speak but nothing came out,he could only stare at seokjin in confusion as he placed a damp clothe on his forehead.
"You look like you're seeing a ghost" seokjin chuckle lightly,seeing the confusion in hoseok eyes jin smirk softly."where am I?"hoseok managed to voice out."in my house,in my bed of course"jin shrug.
Hoseok sat up with a sudden speed just to hiss from the sharp pain in his head."don't get up yet,apparently you have a high fever"jin damp his head one more time with the damp clothes before moving away into the kitchen where hoseok could still hear and see him."where..where are my friends?"hoseok asked weakly."don't worry I notified them and your parents already that you're with me"hoseok wanted to ask something else but the words felt stuck in his throat,jin seeing that just sigh."don't worry..they didn't see what happened, or else they all would've been here already".
hoseok didn't nod or answer jin back,he just laid there as if all the life has been drained out of him.
Jin felt like asking him another question but he could see in hoseok eyes that he doesn't trust him so he decided not to get too personal.. Yet.
"are you not going to ask?"the question hang heavy in the air after a few minutes of silence.
Jin huff." About what?,why you're dressed in bright red in this hot weather? "Hoseok let out a slight chuckle before facing jin." You know what I mean"
Jin sigh as he came back with a bowl of soup."we've all been through hard times seokie,choosing death is never the right answer " hoseok accepted the bowl of food calmly."I just can't live without him..."jin sigh,mentally rolling his eyes."eat up"
Hoseok sat staring out of the window of seokjin's car as he took him home that night,the ride was quiet,jin kept glancing at hoseok a few times but hoseok never glanced back or even acknowledged him,that's how out of it hoseok was.

A few weeks passed,it wasn't easy,it was not easy at all especially when the day that was suppose to be their one year anniversary came around.
13 June.
hoseok cried the entire day.so yes it wasn't easy but hoseok was pulling trough.these days he was starting to feel better,he and seokjin surprisingly got a lot closer,the guy was naturally funny,made hoseok feel better but still the emtyness never left.
He misses yoongi,he still does,a day does not go by where he doesn't miss him but seeing how yoongi was living like he was just a past memory to him hoseok didn't bother him even tho his heart felt like it was being stabbed every time he saw him with Iu,yes for some reason yoongi was seen most of the time with iu now,hoseok convinced himself that it was just work,maybe that was the way yoongi chose to heal but that doesn't mean it didn't hurt especially when some people in their circle were already shipping iu with yoongi,he hated it more than anything but there was nothing he could do.
A special day came.hoseok mother's birthday. It was a tradition to host a huge party for family and friends on their birthday.
Knowing everyone would have something to say to him or say about him hoseok refused to attend the party,his mother felt heartbroken cause hoseok never missed her birthdays before that's when she decided to just host a dinner party this year with less people with this agreement hoseok decided to go even if he wasn't planning to stay for long.
Hoseok calmly walked into his parents mansion that day,dressed in something simple.
