Chapter 10

Misaki's P.O.V

"So what I'm hearing is that Itachi didn't want Ayumi...  I don't see what you are worrying about...  Plus you use to like him." Konan said.

"And that was a long story." Konan yawned.

"I can't fall for him..  If couples become like that, I don't want that.... Wait- I DON'T EVEN LIKE HIM!" I said.

"That's not true..." Konan said.

"Just don't mention this to no one!" I said feeling a little annoyed.

"My lips are sealed." Konan said with a smirk.

"I think it's time to go." Konan said getting up.

"I'll leave you to get ready.  See you."  And on that note, Konan left my room.

I changed into a short black jumper with a belt in the middle, net leggings and black sandals.

I put my cloak on, tied my hair in a ponytail and put my forehead protector on.

I placed Amejisuto on the belt and kept my cloak open.

"Time to leave this place." I said grabbing my stuff and leaving the room.

Itachi's P.O.V

We all on our way out of the hideout.

I was staring at Misaki laughing with Konan...  I can't lie... She looks really cute..  Reminds me of the past...

"Are we going to leave the place intact?  Any ninja who comes across it may be able to find us easily." Misaki said to Pein.

"That's true.  Deidara..." Pein said.

Deidara stuffed his hands in his pouch, and clay came out...

Deidara threw his explosives, "Hm!"

The hideout was destroyed.

"Let's go."  Pein said and we were on our way.

"This is the hideout." Pein said.

"It looks like a house." Hidan said with a straight face.

"This is the best for now." Pein said.

"For now..." Deidara mumbled.

We entered it and it looked, like the inside of a house....

"Leader, do you think there is enough rooms for each of us?" Kisame asked.

"You'll be partnering up with your partner and sharing rooms.. There are two beds in each room." Pein said.

"I have to share a room with Kakuzu?!" Hidan yelled.

"Brat." Kakuzu crossed his arms and gave an irritated look.

"I see what you are doing!!" Hidan said pointing at our leader.

"You are rooming with Konan!" Hidan yelled.

"That doesn't matter." Leader said and sighed.

"Yes it does!  Why can't I room with Konan?!" Hidan asked Pein.

"Definitely not. Konan is my partner." Pein said.

"Why can't I room with Misaki?!  She doesn't have a partner!" Hidan said.

"Definitely not." Sasori, Deidara and I said at the same time.

Wait, I don't even care. What the hell...

Misaki had a light blush.

"Just shut up Hidan." Kakuzu said pulling Hidan back.

"You won't change my mind Hidan!  Misaki will have her own room."

"With two beds?  Don't expect me not to come over if Kakuzu starts to annoy me." Hidan said talking to Misaki.

Sasori pulled Misaki behind him, "Definitely not..  I'll kill you."

I felt weird, once I saw that.

"Yeah right puppet boy!  I'll sacrifice you to Jashin!" Hidan said clutching his scythe.

"STOP!" Leader said in a horrifying voice.

"Konan and I will bring you to your rooms." Pein said.

Konan led, Kisame, Misaki and I to our rooms.

"Misaki, confess!" Konan said.

"Quiet down!" Misaki said to Konan.

I wondered what they were saying...  It caused me to smirk either way.

"Kisame and Itachi, here's your room."  Konan said and we entered our room.

"Confess?" Kisame smirked.

I knew what he was thinking...

"Don't say it." I said closing my eyes.

Misaki's P.O.V

"Here's your room Misaki." Konan said and I entered it.

"It's a room away from you know who." Konan said with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes and entered my room.

"The room is so plain!" I yelled throwing myself on one bed.  I was lying on my stomach.

"I think you really should talk to Itachi." Konan said as she sat on the other bed.  I cringed.

"No." I said.

"Back at our previous hideout, you told me you felt pain here once Itachi and Ayumi dated." Konan said touching the area where her heart was.

"What's your point?" I asked with my arms crossed and my face buried in them.

"What do you feel now?" Konan asked.

"Konan, I've isolated myself from people for 3 and a half years. When my family died, I almost lost myself. I didn't completely go mad due to the fact I had Itachi, Ayumi and the Uchiha, even though Itachi and Ayumi where my enemies. Once all of that was gone, I realized something what am I crying for something that's gone? It won't come back. I'm just paining myself wishing something comes back at the same time knowing it won't." I said sighing.

"You didn't lose Itachi..." Konan said.

"I did lose him. When he killed Ayumi and the Uchiha, I didn't know who he was... He wasn't the innocent, kind, and sweet boy I met. It was like killing two birds with one stone... I think." I said.

I can't let this get to me. I haven't cried for almost 4 years.

"I dedicated my life to killing the person who killed my family at no matter what it takes!" I said.

"If I die after that, I don't care. I've became a bloody murderer Konan!"

"So what do you feel Misaki?" Konan asked.

"Nothing." I said sinking my face into my arms.

I expected that I'd turn out like this.
