Chapter 22

Itachi's P.O.V

I was so angry..  I managed to activate my Susanoo..

I ran towards Misaki, taking her limp body and resting it towards the part of the hideout we have left.

"Itachi is that you?" She said in barely a whisper.

"Yes..  It is.."

"I-I can't see..." She said trying to prevent herself from crying..

I laid her in my arms and held her.

"I'm so sorry."  I said hugging her.

"I'm going to kill you!"  I heard Hidan say going to attack Akira.

"Idiot!  You have no chance against me!"

"Let's see if you have a chance against me!"  Kakuzu said standing beside Hidan.

"I can take care of myself Kakuzu."

"Shut up!  No you can't!"

"Kakuzu..." I said and he looked at me.

"You are in no shape to fight...  This isn't your battle anymore!" Kakuzu said and my Susanoo disappeared.

I looked at him and smiled softly.

"Just protect your girlfriend..."  Kakuzu said.

"We aren't a couple!" Both Misaki and I said.

"You are holding her like you don't want anyone to touch her...  Wait, is that your hand slipping to her ass?"

"Itachi!!!"  Misaki yelled, yet she smiled softly.

"So you want me to touch your ass?" I asked her.

"I'll kill you!  You won't be able to put me under a Genjutsu this time!"

"And you won't be able to see."

"Idiot!"

"SHUT UP!"  Akira said and Kakuzu and Hidan attacked him.

"Don't forget about me!"  Amaya said about to attack..

Konan came throwing paper bombs at her.

"Itachi take care of Misaki!  Amaya is mine!"  Konan said.

"She has Misaki's eyes..."

"I'll get the eyes back too."

Konan was put under a Genjutsu by Amaya..  

Then Kisame arrived and hit Amaya in the side with Samehada breaking the Genjutsu...

"Don't leave me behind now." Kisame said.

I smirked.

*BOOM*

I looked up to see Sasori and Deidara on one of Deidara's birds throwing bombs down.

"Sorry it to keep you waiting, hm!"  Deidara said as he continued to blow up the bombs cause Akira to drop Amejisuto and fly away.

"Almighty Push!"  Pein sent Amaya flying.

"Finally, it's your time to die..." Pein said.

"GO LEADER! GO KONAN!  GO SASORI! GO DEIDARA-" Tobi was on the sidelines cheering.

"Shut up Tobi!" Black Zetsu said as both Zetsu's watched the battle.

"This isn't fair!  Akira what are we gonna do!"  Amaya said back to back with Akira..

"We can retreat!"

"Itachi bring me to Amaya and Akira, right now!" Misaki said and I did as told.

"What are you doing here?  You are pretty much helpless!"  Amaya said to Misaki and I.

"Like you'll die in a couple more moments Misaki." Amaya said laughing.

"Amaya...  I have something to tell you...  If you are leaving....  I guess this is..."  In a flash Misaki was in front of Amaya with her hand in her chest.

"Goodbye!"  Misaki took her eyes back and ripped Amaya's heart out.

She held it in her hand and squeezed it and it exploded.

Amaya was dead...

Blood covered Misaki's body..

"You just fucking killed Amaya.." The blood drained from Akira's face.

"Woah Misaki...."

"ARE YOU TELLING ME YOU COULD'VE FUCKING DONE THAT ALL ALONG?!" Hidan yelled.

"I need to use my other senses to sense her."

"You killed.. My sister.." Akira said dropping to his knees.

"Lying Bitch." Hidan muttered.

"YOU DAMN IDIOT!! I COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT EARLY FOR SOME REASON! BUT I GOT MY FUCKING EYES BACK!" I yelled at Hidan.

"Ok... You are scaring me..." Hidan said backing away..

"How could've it happened so quickly?!" Akira said crying.

"Your eyes have changed." Itachi said with his hand on my cheek.

"How does it look?"

"It's a brighter purple with diamond pupils..." Itachi said.

"Is that so..."

"YOU WILL PAY MISAKI!" Akira said causing me to turn around..

I grabbed Amejisuto, "I sparred you for the rest of the members..." I said as they all went in for the kill.. Causing me to smirk.

"Misaki! Let's go!" Konan said as we were about to leave the hideout for another..

I saw Itachi waiting for me.

"Uhh... I'll catch up to you later." I said.

She realized Itachi's presence and left.

I walked towards Itachi, "Let's talk somewhere better." Itachi said as he lead me to a branch on a tree.

We both sat down and stared at the sunset.

"So what are we now?" Itachi asked me...

"I don't know... A lot has happened, so... I'm really unsure about it." I said.

"Well.. I've realized my feelings... I love you Misaki." Itachi said and my eyes widened.

I blushed, "I loved you before! I don't know about now!" I said turning my head and blushing some more.

"Why not?" Itachi asked as our faces were inches apart.

"You kissed Amaya!" I said with a vein popping on my forehead.

"I'm really sorry about that. I was trying to protect you, and I couldn't do as I planned." Itachi said looking at the sunset.

I kissed Itachi's cheek.

"Let's see what happens." I said to Itachi..

He pulled me into a long passionate kiss.

"Itachi..."

"You said let's see what happens." I smiled and he jumped off the tree.

"Let's go!" Itachi said lending his hand.

I jumped down and took it.

We walked into the sunset holding hands...

I wonder what's next to come for us...

Maybe love can still bloom...
