"On everything you cheating!" Janelle threw the game controller onto the sofa across from the one we were currently sitting on.
"Stop being a sore loser, it's not cute." I laughed. She was seriously pissed that I beat her in 2k
"Then stop cheating Jah, I swear I'm bout to leave" she crossed her arms
"You said that like an hour ago" I laughed harder baby girl was seriously that upset with me.
"Hush up boy." She mugged me causing me to laugh even harder in her face.
"You really lucky I like spending time with Nariah" she said
"Who?" I joked
"Don't play Jah youth, I'm here for Nariah and being your friend is just a bonus." She said
"So what you trying to say is I'm a side line hoe?" I asked pretending to be hurt. Sue pushed me busting out laughing. When I tell you that Janelle is very beautiful she's every ounce of that, nothing short of it.
"No you're my other best friend." She said grabbing my hand looking into my eyes like In the movies with the straightest face.
"Jah even though we just met I just wanted to tell you that... it felt like I've known you forever."she said laughing hard. See what I've learned about Janelle in the past couple of hours we've spent together is that she's very silly. First looking at her I thought she would be very serious, but she quite the opposite, and anybody that knows me know I'm all down for having a great time.
"You're so silly." I smiled
"I know I know. Life is too serious sometimes I gotta let my hair down" she said biting her lip which I notice she does a lot. I nodded my head understanding everything she said.
"I feel you. Are you hungry?" I asked
"Are you asking me to stay for dinner?" She asked with her eyebrow raised, another thing I've learned about her she always says what she means. She wears her heart on her sleeve.
"Only if you'll say yes." I bit my lip
She nodded smiling "then yes jah" she said
"Great! Riaha!" I yelled
"Why you yelling?!" Nariah answered coming out of her room
"Cause if I didn't you wouldn't have answered now would you?" I asked her
"Tru, tru" she said causing Janelle to giggle softly
"I'm about to go get all of us something to eat, what do you want?" I asked
"Uh philly cheese stake" she smiled
"Is that okay with you?" I turned to ask Janelle
"Of course I'm the guest" she said she's also very polite
"Okay philly it is. I'll be back. Behave" I pointed at Nariah
"You act like she's not well behave" Janelle laughed
"Right tho, I get no type of credit" Riaha shook her head
"You're not, and you behave too Ms. Janelle" I pointed to Nelle
"Yes father." She rolled her eyes
"You keep calling me daddy." I smiled wiggling my eyebrows at her
"You so nasty" she covered her blushing face
"Will you leave already I'm hungry" Nariah said sitting next to Janelle on the sofa

"I think my brother likes you." Nariah said as soon as the front door closed
"What?" I laughed a little. How could this girl come up with that, when we just met...today?!
"I think Jah likes you....I know my brother" she smiled wiggling her eye brows at me like jah just did. These two.
"Okay child." I pretended to roll my eyes
"No for real, he's never really THIS social around girls..don't get me wrong my brother can pull, but he's never chilled with them....not around me anyway" she explained her brothers actions. I nodded, Jah looks nothing less than a ladies man so I'm not surprised that he 'pulls'.
"And...." I said trailing off. This is all so nice but what did that have to do with me?
"And he told you things about him... I listened and he never does that." She finished
He did say he never really did that...I feel kind of special.
"I guess." I nodded
"And you've been here for a while and he hasn't bothered me, so he's really enjoying himself." She said turning the t.v off of game mode.
I laughed at her, she's...too much for life.
"But promise me something Janelle" she said seriously placing the remote on the table
"Yes." I asked with an eyebrow raised
"Promise you won't hurt him....like he's a really good guy" she almost pleaded
"Why would I hurt him? We're only friends" I rubbed her back in small circle
"I don't know he just got out a really bad relationship, that I'll let him tell you about but today was the first time in a long time he smiled, and I mean really smile" she said almost in a daze.
I nodded my head quickly, although I don't know her that well I don't like seeing her like this.
"Of course not sweet heart. You have my word." I told her
"Really?" She looked at me long and hard.
I nodded my head biting my lip "for you I will." I said
And I truly don't know what I got myself into today....but I'm ready for what ever it brings me. What I learned here today is everyone needs some support and a friend, and that's what I'm giving him: support and a friendship. Anything more than that is just a bonus.
