Why is moving always so hard? I found myself looking around my new apartment in Providence.
"Ma'am where would you like this?" One of the movers asked me making my train of thought come to a sudden stop.
"Uh can you sit it in the kitchen?" I asked with a weak smile, I'm not in the best mood, but I'm not gonna kill any ones else.

After some what organizing and going through my belongings, I thought I needed a break. I felt as if the walls were closing in on me. I threw on my over sized army jacket along with my black combat boots and black beanie. Simple and cute, plus it's hecka cold out here but I can't talk Washington Heights ain't no better. I grabbed a little cash, my house key and phone locking up.
I walked down the hall mumbling a quick "hello" to people I past.
Once I got outside I saw two girls sitting on the steps talking. The light skinned one looked up smiling at me, I returned the smile. She looked no older than 16 years old. Aw I quickly reminisced on when I was that young...and innocent.
"Hello? Did you just move here?" She asked me
"Yes apartment 216" I looked from her young face to her friends'
"Oh I'm Nariah" she smiled. Aw she was cute.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Janelle" I introduced myself. Oddly enough I found myself engaging in a conversation with Nariah as if we've been best friends forever.
I hardly talk to people I don't know. She was telling me about her older brother, I just found it so cute how much love she has for him.
"He's like my twin." She smiled big
Tea (her friend) and I smiled as she explained her relationship with her big brother.
"What about you Janelle, how old are you?" Nariah asked
"I'm 21" I smiled. Her and Tea looked shocked. How old do I really look?
"I thought you were my age." She said. I had to laugh at the disappointment in her voice.
"I'm sorry my old age ruined the start of what could have been a good friendship." I said trying to keep a straight face.
"No you're really fun, I just thought you were my age instead of my bum brother." She said earning a couple of giggles to leave my lips. Dang what happened to the love?
"It's alright." I said preparing to walk away
"Wait! Where are you going? I still wanna talk to my new friend" she smiled at me.
Aw that warmed my cold heart.
"Okay." I stayed in my spot as she and Tea filled me in on the do's and don'ts in providence.
"Don't get involved with any bum guys" Nariah instructed as I nodded my head
"Who you talking to Riaha?" Someone asked
"My new friend, want to meet her?" She asked the unknown person standing behind me
"Uhhhh no." The person said causing a few to laugh yearning my attention, so I turned around and boy did my breath get caught in my throat. The man standing before me was one of the most beautiful guys I've ever laid eyes upon. Wow...that's the only word I could use to describe him.
"Janelle this is my bum brother Jah youth." Nariah introduced us wait....brother? I looked between the two and sure enough they looked just alike.
"Hi" I heard him say
"Hello?" I replied looking up. He is fairly tall.
"Janelle you said your name was?" He smiled. Boy I had to get my life.
His smile is amazing.
"Yes and Jah youth you said your name was?" I asked for conformation...or was it another reason to hear his cute accent? I think it's both. Yeah both.
*Jah Youth
Man I'm trying to tell you shawty is beautiful. From her light brown curly hair to her little button nose. She really is cute.
"You just moved here?" I asked forgetting the fact that I just had a bad break-up.
"Yeah from Washington Heights." She smiled
"Oh not too far from home." I said earning a smile from her
"True let's just hope I don't get home sick" she giggled. She sounded like Jasmine.
I found myself reminiscing of the last time I was able to make her giggle like a school girl. I miss her, I ain't afraid to admit it; I'm just afraid of getting back with her. But all I'm left with is old ,memories to reminisce upon
