Claire's P.O.V. (Two weeks later)

"Want to go see the lot?" Braden asks.

"Yeah,"

Braden and I made the move back out to Colorado a few days ago. We've been staying at a hotel and now we are going to see the lot that the house will be on. Apparently Braden still has some of the ten million dollars and is using it for the house and stuff.

I have now been pregnant for five weeks, and I'm starting to notice. My stomach barely has a bump, but it's slightly bigger than it was before. And for the last few days, I've been getting a lot more tired.

"Let's go, then. Are you good to walk, or do you want me to call a cab or something?" He asks.

"I'll be fine, it's only a few blocks."

"You sure?" He asks.

"Yes, I'm sure." I say. I go over to him and lightly kiss his cheek.

"Don't start something you can't finish." He says with a smirk. He wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my neck gently. I slightly moan.

"Don't start something you'll regret."

He pulls my lips to his and kisses me passionately. He moved his hands to my butt as I run my fingers through his hair. He slightly moans against my lips and I smile.

"Come on, we don't want to be late." I say.

"We can be a little late." He says with a smirk.

"No we can't. The construction guys will get mad."

"No they won't. The head guy said he can't make it and that his son is taking over the job. The son just happens to be our age, so he should be chill." He says.

"Just because he's our age doesn't mean he'll be chill. Let's go." I say as I pull on his arm.

He rolls his eyes and gives into my pull.  I slip my phone in my pocket as we head out of the hotel room.

"Are you sure you can walk there?" He asks.

"I'm sure." I say.

"If you don't feel right at all-"

"Let you know, I know." I say.

"Good." He says as we step out of the elevator.

A/N: I'm still too lazy to write about their walk to the lot...so time skip to when they're almost to the lot.

"There it is." He says as he points at the big empty over space.

"Really?" I ask.

He nods with a smile.

The lot is huge, but even with a house on it, there will still be a huge front and back yard. The neighbor's houses aren't too close, but they exist.

There's three white pick up trucks in front of the lot.

"You, uh, Mr. Smith?" A voice asks as he looks on a clipboard.

"That's me." Braden says as he walks forward and shakes hands with the guy who called his name.

"Hi, I'm-oh my god. Claire? Braden?" He asks.

Something about the way he says our names triggers who he is.

"Max?" I ask.

He nods.

"Oh my god!" I exclaim. I step forward and hug him. I haven't seen him since I moved four years ago. He looks great. He's not as muscular as Braden, but he's buff. He's a little shorter than Braden, but still taller than me. He is wearing a belt with all sorts of tools and stuff on it.
