We reached over 2k reads! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my stories and being patient with my updates. I'm trying to update more often, but I don't have much time to sit and write. And the time I do have when I commute is spent sleeping because I'm always so darn tired. So, uh, I apologize for the monthly updates.
Onto the main course. This follows the trouble in paradise chapter. The names are from a generator. I mentioned this at the beginning of the Corpse Bride chapter. I'm repeating it because most of the names aren't original. I can't think. It's a rollercoaster, might be confusion, hopefully not.
Enjoy the ride!

After agreeing to support the beginning of his great medical career, Sébastien had his son enroll at the academy. The administration thought it was a prank, but when one of their professors wrote a letter recommending his admission, they shook their heads and agreed.
"You officially registered him?" Helen was stupefied. "And they allowed you?"
"Beecham can't move mountains, but the world fears him regardless," he explained. He showed her the papers and other documents saved in his file. James would be taught, evaluated and graded just as the older students.
"Won't this overwhelm him?" She worried her son would be scared after watching dissections and gross anatomy in more detail than anyone ever should. Sébastien was concerned, though, not as much. He had this odd feeling that James would find those courses the most enjoyable.
"He will endure. He has me as a professor, after all." Helen elbowed him, earning a huff. "Arrogant fool."
"Apologies, love." Leaning onto her in mock hurt, he clutched his stomach for added effect. "What would we do without our loving, beautiful, sweet-hearted Helen? Hm?"
"Starve is the first. Your cooking is still caustic after all these years." Her small smirk didn't go unnoticed, but her husband, too busy sputtering, failed to refute.
Standing under the shade of her umbrella, she called her son from the group of students, entertaining him. It was time for them to return home. He insisted on staying, but quickly ran over at the mention of his favourite pie.
The family of three returned home; Helen walking like a dandelion seed in the wind with her two darling boys. Passersby tipped off their hats and offered their compliments to the parents for their charming son. It was a beautiful picture.
"Are you going to teach me, Dad?" James was bubbling with excitement. "Uncle Beecham told me you're a really good teacher."
"Look at my son, cleverly lying. 'Beecham' and 'good' are not words that go together."
