The road has merely begun, the journey barely set in place. We've walked a tumultuous path, full of joy, resentment and heartbreak. You've seen my characters come to life and grow; fade like a voice lost in the wind. You've seen them fall in love, so sweetly begging for each other. You've seen them grieve, broken and in despair, without their heart.

You saw it all.

You saw me.

Hidden between lines, squeezed into shells, bringing them to life, my characters carried me: who I am, who I thought I was, what I could've been. They showed you what I could never say, the things I cared too deeply for and the wishes I pleaded to come true. They revealed the madness my mind clung to and the regret that sometimes crushed my spirit.

Hidden between each line, I was there, waving with small, shy hands.

Today, this chapter is dedicated to you, as a token of my appreciation.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. You put up with me, my mistakes and repetitive plots, the inconsistent updates, and everything cringeworthy and socially awkward about my nature.

And maybe this all seems like too much. Perhaps to some, it may seem dramatic, but I think it should be done. Where would authors be if no one cared to read their stories and hear their voices?

You are part of who we are.

And for that, I thank you for bringing me to this point today 🤍
