Dek had been onboard The Ship Lemuria on an emergency mission to the stratosphere station when they encountered a deadly meteor strike.
They immediately deployed an ultra sonic net to give them a chance to escape, but it was too late for them.
He was able to escape in an emergency pod and ended up in the mountains where Gaia saw him crash land in her dream. He had been knocked out for a day and a night, but now he was awake, and he turned on his distress beacon in the hopes that his family would come and find him.
Takana saw the signal, and did nothing. She knew he would not last long out there. It was only a matter of time .
