SIENA

I didn't get to know her, I barely knew her really. I just happened to live in a room right beside her. So, why are my thoughts lingering to that girl? She was so broken, I could tell it in her eyes. Whatever she's up to right now, she's probably in pain. I remember the one day we hung out. It was a disaster and caused more trouble than I ever wanted.

"How about red?" I asked holding the dress in my hands.

She ignored me yet again. I've always tried to make our suite-mates feel welcomed. Me and the other two, we've been together for three years now. We always like to welcome a new fourth every year, and this year it happened to be a girl with blue hair.

I came into her room so she could help me pick out something to wear. I thought it'd be fun, well, at least I thought she'd talk. She hasn't said a damn word. She was barely breathing.

She sat on her bed with her hair pulled back. She had her pajamas on and looked absolutely miserable. Her hair was blue again, and her makeup looked really nice. She looked absolutely beautiful, actually. I've asked her over and over again where she was and why she didn't take me, but she never answered. I gave her a small frown and sat on her bed beside her.

"Please tell me what's wrong," I frowned and sat on her bed.

She shook her head.

"You've been depressed all afternoon! Ever since you came in a mysterious black car, you've been sad," I frowned.

She shrugged.

"Then come with me tonight," I begged. "It's just to a late supper."

She frowned. I stood and fixed my hair in the mirror. I let out a sigh.

"It'll just be me... and some of my old friends," I mumbled.

She frowned even harder.

"Please! I think you're pretty damn cool and really hot, but you're not when you just want to sit and finger yourself on a Friday night!" I yelled.

She tilted her head and stared at me. I nearly fell in love. She's so damn innocent.

"Get dressed!" I laughed. "We leave in ten!"

She huffed but stood and searched her closet for a dress, I assume. I got a text from our ride, he's almost here. I decided on the nude, short dress, it didn't show too much. I turned around to her and she looked confused.

"You don't have clothes, do you?" I asked her.

She shrugged, causing me to sigh. Why won't she use her words? I tossed her a sleeveless blue dress that made her bright blue hair stand out even more. She frowned at it, but she didn't complain. She looked extremely tired, but she's been laying in bed for so long, of course she'd be tired!

We took the elevator and walked out the suite. I'm not too impressed with living in this suite. I'm from LA, so it's normal, everything is familiar. I rode past this college every time I went to club volleyball. It was never a dream of mine. I always wanted to go to Duke university. But my mother is the dean of this school, so it was cheaper.

"Whose this?" Bobby, our driver, asked.

We got into the car with him and his friend, a friend who I don't really know. I looked over to see my roomie hiding behind her short blue hair.

I introduced her name. "She's on the volley team."

"Didn't tell me you were bringing friends," Bobby grumbled while lighting his cigarette.
