"How'd she even get a scholarship playing like that?" Rita groaned after we slapped hands with USC.
"Why'd you even put her in, Coach?" Hailey groaned.
"She's such a fucking priss! Scared you'd break a nail if you returned her ball?" Rita growled at me pushed my chest. "Scared you mess up for your fucking boyfriend?!"
"Hey! Stop," Siena said breaking into the argument.
"Oh why? You have a crush on this suck ass player too?" Rita snickered at Siena
Siena rolled her eyes. "You bitch."
"You all shut the hell up," growled Coach.
They groaned and shut up.
"Tomorrow turn in your jerseys. No further words other than you should all be disappointed in how you played today," said coach. "You played as individuals, not a team."
She dismissed us and walked away. Rita and Hailey strutted away gossiping. Siena gave me a nice smile and a pat on the shoulder before walking away to talk to her other friends.
"What happened out there?"
I turned around and it was Megan. She stood with her water in her hand. She looked different, tired even. It was as if she looked like she hasn't slept in months.
I was silent.
"I guess since Harry wasn't here then you're off your game, aren't you?" Megan smirked.
"We broke up," I mumbled.
"What?" she asked surprised.
"Yeah, you finally got what you wanted I guess," I shrugged with a frown just thinking about it. I wish I never met him.
"I didn't want that," she frowned. "When did this happen?"
"Yesterday."
"You dumped him?" Megan asked.
I nodded and a small frown. I didn't feel sad about it. I felt more guilty and afraid since the world knew who I was. A frown of sympathy appeared on her face. She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me. I tensed and tried to let my tears fall. Only the thing is, none fell.
"Plans off I suppose?"
I let go of Megan and saw Chloe standing beside us. She stood with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face. Megan frowned at her and didn't respond.
"I've got to go," Megan walked away. "Later."
I don't know if what Megan and I had was love, but I also knew it was hatred at the time. Now, I feel like a complete idiot thinking it was anything more than pure and simple hatred. Megan disappeared into the big crowd of people in the gymnasium and to her team who were celebrating.
"Megan's little plan to expose you and Harry," Chloe shrugged. "If you were wondering."
I tilted my head to the side.
"How about we talk about this later," Chloe said more than asked.
She motioned for me to follow her. I grabbed my bag from the locker room first. I followed Chloe out the door of USC. I saw Mom waiting at what I assume was her car. She seemed as she had just finished crying.
"Sweetie, you played great!" She said while hugging me. "I'm so glad we got to see you play!"
"The hell she played great," chuckled Chloe.
Mom decided to ignore Chloe's witty comment, and she grabbed my bag and put it in the trunk. I saw Siena leaving with the rest of the team on the bus. I'm supposed to leave with them, but why should I? They all hate me right now and I doubt coach would even care. I texted Siena saying I was with my sister. She didn't respond.
I sat in the passengers seat as Chloe drove. We all rode in silence for a good twenty minutes, till Chloe pulled into an unfamiliar house.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"Rental house, it's pretty ugly," Chloe had groaned as she parked.
I got out the car along with my family. We walked in once Chloe unlocked the door. The beauty, or lack there of, of the house didn't bother me. I laid on the couch and huffed.
"Get changed," Chloe said walking into the living room, "Mom wants to go out to eat."
"I'm tired," I whispered.
"But I'm not, and neither is she," Chloe said.
I sighed.
"You and Harry broke up, is that why you're upset?" Chloe asked.
I shrugged and Chloe sat on the couch beside me. I'm not upset about that, but I'm just so tired.
"I mean, you're always upset so what's the deal this time?" Chloe asked.
"I want to rest," I sighed.
"No," Chloe said. "Resting is a no, you lazy bum. We're going out to be eat so get changed."
Before I could protest, not that I would've, she walked away in her heels.

MEGAN
I remember when she told me they broke up the first time. I was so mad, but also so fucking happy. What the hell did he see in her of all the girls in the world anyways?
I groaned, trying to sleep and rid my thoughts of that blue haired bitch. I wish I never met that girl.

They broke up, they fucking broke up! My plan was ruined. Everything was ruined. How am I supposed to expose her if they're not even dating? I thought that. No one actually knows that they broke up. Maybe I can tell the media? I contacted PRIVACY after googling their number first.
"Good morning this is PRIVACY inside media production. How can we help you?" The man spoke.
"This is inside on Blue Girl," I spoke.
"Dirt on Harry Styles girlfriend?" The man asked.
"Ex-girlfriend," I smirked.
"How can we be sure they are broken up?" He asked.
"I'm her best friend, Megan," I said.
"Megan what?" He asked.
"Megan Reynolds," I answered.
"And I can trust you?" he asked.
"If I know your name," I said.
"Scott Pope," he answered.
"Now that we know each other, you can fully trust me. I'll call back with more dirt," I said.
"Don't fail me kid," Scott said and ended the call.
I won't fail you, believe me.
