Claudia's Pov-
I woke up to Clarence shaking my shoulders and I was out of breath. I looked around my room, dazed and confused. This usually happens whenever I have night terrors but the thing is, this wasn't half as bad as usual.

"I thought you were being possessed or something. You literally stopped breathing and I almost called an ambulance... Maybe we should get this checked out, Claudia. I doubt it's good for your health. You were like making choking noises as if someone were strangling you when I came in here! It was fucking scary." He said, wiping off my forehead.

"No... No I'm fine. I just need to cool off for a bit." I added.

"But Clau-"  he started.

"I said I'm fine." I mumbled as I got out of my bed. I could've sworn that I had been downstairs but maybe that's just from the dream.

I went into my bathroom and got undressed, turning the shower on to a boiling temperature. I saw my mirrors fogging up and so were my glasses. I took them off and stepped into the shower, letting the warm water relax my tense and shaken up body. My blonde hair was now soaked with water and I rinsed shampoo through it, making sure not to miss anything. Soon enough I was out in no time, putting on different underwear and clothes for the day.

I grabbed my glasses and went to check myself in the mirror when I saw writing on it. Someone had run their fingers over the fog to make the words "I see you" oh hell no I'm not fucking with demons today. I grabbed a hand towel and wiped off the writing and chuckled to myself.

"Clarence you have to do a better job than that if you want to scare me!" I yelled into the hallway as I let out another laugh.

My breath hitched in my throat as I looked in the mirror, seeing the exact same person from my dream. The boy with the brown hair, that is. I quickly turned around and he was gone. Jesus what's happening?? I looked behind the shower curtain nobody was there yet again. My mind is probably just tricking me because of that damn dream.

"Clarence are you even trying to scare me?" I yelled down the steps.

"What are you even talking about?" He said, walking up to the railing.

"I see you? Does that ring a bell?" I replied, throwing the damp hand towel at him.

"I still don't get what you're talking about. I've been down here talking to the new neighbors that moved in a couple of weeks ago. I should invite them over so you can meet them too. They all look about your age, I don't think you'd mind them too much.." He chuckled walking out from my view. This is like some paranormal activity shit right here.

I slowly walked back upstairs and grabbed my headphones, putting my music on full blast. I enjoy the songs that are on the radio more to be honest. I like pop music, big whoop. It's not like it makes me a bad person because I listen to it. But there are some older songs and different groups that I like that aren't pop music. So maybe my taste in music isn't that horrible.

I slid my phone into my pocket as I started playing SummerThing! By Afrojack. I started kicking my legs out and shaking my hips as I danced along to the music. I grabbed a stick of deodorant to use as a fake microphone as I sang along with the music.

"And I told my heart it's just a summer thing, that it was just a summer thing!" I sang as I started jumping around my room like crazy, doing high kicks and jumping on my bed. I was laughing and giggling like a small child and I saw the tree outside of my window so I grabbed my bag and started climbing onto a branch.

"I don't think you should be doing that.." I looked over my shoulder to see who I assumed was one of the new neighbors.

"And who's gonna stop me?" I giggled. His face didn't change and he looked stern. Maybe he wasn't one of the fun people.
