I Follow Doc out of my room and to the front door, "are you sure she's okay?" I ask worriedly. He nods his head "yeah seems like the worst of it is over just keep her hydrated and lots of rest. I want to see her again next week so we can start getting her caught up on her shots it's most likely she's never had shots before which is another reason her immune system is so weak." I nod holding the door open "Thank you again, I'll be sure to bring her by to get her shots done."

I turn and head back to the bedroom, opening the door i step in and see an empty bed. Frowning i glance around the room looking for Baby, when i don't immediately see her my heart begins to beat faster. I relax as i hear the sound of the toilet flushing. Letting out a sigh of relief i step into the room and close the door behind me walking to the bathroom door i don't bother knocking as i open the door and step into the bathroom. Baby jumps from where she's standing weakly at the sink washing her hands.

I quickly step up and lift her from behind with my arm around her waist, "you should have waited for me, your too weak to be out of bed" i say gruffly as i begin rubbing her hands with my free hand, washing the soap of her hands. I feel her body shake and then i hear a soft sob. My heart drops and i quickly turn off the water and walk out the bathroom door heading back for the bed.

Sitting down on the bed i sit her on my lap straddling me, she brings her hands up to her face covering it as soft sobs rake through her small body.

"Baby, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Are you in pain?" I ask rubbing my hand up and down her back soothingly.

She shakes her head and leans forward laying her forehead against my chest. "I-Im sorry" she says as she sniffles wiping her nose on my chest. I ignore that she did that and focus on her.

"Why Baby? Talk to me" i say worriedly.

She takes a deep breath as i use my now dirty shirt to wipe her wet red cheeks before whipping it off and tossing it on the floor.

"I d-didn't m-mean to make y-you angry" she says sniffly, I chuckle softly, she so cute.

"It's okay i know you didn't, i just worry about you" i say pecking her on the forehead. Lifting her up i lay her back down on the bed and tuck the blanket around her. Reaching for the remote on the side table i turn on some cartoon about a giant red dog, then climb into the bed beside her, pulling her onto my chest. She lays watching the show with a soft smile on her plump red lips.

After a few minutes my eyes begin to get heavy.

Over the next few days Baby stays in bed watching tv and getting lots of rest, her fever luckily stays down with the medicine Doc left for her.

Today i am taking Baby down to the club house to get her shots taken, hopefully that goes down smoothly. We haven't spoken of her brother since the other day, part of me worries that she will want to go and live with her mother and brother, i can't let her go, she's mine.
