*3 mouths after Jamie and Eddie started dating*
"Make it stop" Eddie said throwing a pillow over her head. "It's a alarm Eddie its supposed to be loud wake you up" Jamie laughed pulling her out from under the pillow and leaning down to kiss her. Eddie covered her mouth with the covers quickly. Jamie looked at her confused "what's wrong?" She smiled "morning breath" Jamie laughed rolling out of bed taking Eddie with him. "Well I could care less" he kissed her and ran though the small apartment. "Your such a child!" she yelled after him. They went into the kitchen and made breakfast getting ready for their day. "I really miss working with you" Eddie said walking out of the apartment into the cold New York air. "Me too" he followed her out. "I will see you after work love you."Jamie said walking to his car. "I love you too." she got in her car ready to get her day started
Erin's pov
"Erin Reagan" Erin's boss called from her office "Yes?" Erin walked in saying. "I left your case folder on your desk." Erin nodded looking at her confused.
"It's personal case about one of our officers I wanted to have you check it out." Erin walked out wondering who it was about? She walked into her office taking a seat before checking out the folder.
Case: Bryan janko, 6-8 years stealing company's money, abuse to both wife and daughter. He is being released two days from now but his ex wife Mary janko doesn't want him out and some of the prison guards thinks he's dangerous. One daughter edit janko hasn't spoken to in 3 years. Has no visits sense in jail.
Erin looked up from the flooder. Edit janko she knew that sounded familiar to her. "Eddie" she said aloud and texted Jamie.
E-how well do you know eddies family?
J- why?
E-does she have a dad in jail?
J-yeah and a mom she don't talk to..
E-I have case her about her dad
J-what?
E-is it ok if I come by later and talk to Eddie?
J-yes whatever you need.
Jamie's pov
Jamie sat at his desk it had been a slow day and he wanted to go home. He just got done texting Erin about two hours ago and was worried about Eddie. "Hey partner" Jessica walked in and sat on his desk. He looked at her for a minute. "Hey". It was 3:45 and they got off at 4:00 if they had no cases come up. "After we leave here want to go for drinks" Jessica looked at him he was so attractive. "I have to be somewhere to be after work" Jamie said. She sighed and leaned down to him right at his ear "are you sure it can't wait.." Jamie looked at her in defense. "Jessica we are partners nothing else" he got up from his desk and walked out as soon as the clock turned 4:00pm.
Eddies pov:
The day went by pretty fast she liked her new partner and was glad to be getting rid of the old one. She pulled into Jamie's apartment walking up the stairs he had texted her to meet him when she got off at five. She unlocked Jamie's apartment she pretty much lived with him has a key and keeps clothes there. She walked in to see Erin and Jamie having so tea in his living room. "Hey" she looked at Jamie who was up and kissed her cheek. "Hey Eddie" erin smiled a waved a little. Erin really liked Eddie she was funny at dinner and was really good for Jamie. "So ah what's going on?" Eddie asked sitting down next to Jamie on the big couch. "I was here because something came up today at work and I was wondering if I could ask you some stuff?" Erin replied. She could see Eddie hesitation to say yes. "Sure" Eddie said after sharing a look with Jamie. "So how well do you know you dad?" Jamie looked at how uncomfortable Eddie was after she asked that and put his hand on her knee. "Ok I guess he is in jail I haven't spoken to him since he got Arrested." Erin nodded and continue with her question. Eddie continued to answer them and was surprised when Erin said he was going to be let out in two days. She left not long after that. "Hey want to watch a movie I have you favorite" Jamie said kissing her temple. She looked down at the ground some of the things Erin asked was super personal some Jamie didn't even know. "Hey what's wrong" Jamie pulled her closer to him. "I don't know I just" Eddies voice cracked and she looked up not wanting to cry. "Look at me" Jamie  said as Eddie broke down crying. He pulled her into his lap and rubbed her back as she cried. "I haven't talked to none of my family in so long just talking about it brought up so many....." She hid her face in Jamie's neck. "Hey it's ok shhh" he rubbed her back. She stayed like this for a few minutes. "It was thanksgiving dinner and I was  18 sitting around the table with my family having a good dinner like we also did...when the cops came in and took my dad...I cried and hated him I stopped talking to my mom and my friends so I moved out and went to collage being a cop trying to forget that life..my mom was always trying to fix things but they fought a lot Jamie it was just all missed up not even to mention what he did to me and my mom...." By the time she finished she had tears in her eyes again. "Eddie it's ok your right you have a different life now and a lot of people love you my family me and your friends." He kissed her salty lips from where she had been crying. "Thanks Jamie" she whispered. And told him to put the movie on.

"Your a stupid slut no one likes you" 12 Year old Eddie  could hear from her room. "I do more for this family than you do" her mom yelled back. Than she heard big crushes and glass breaking. "Plz stop plz don't fight STOP"
Jamie jumped awake by Eddie yelling he rubbed her back "Eddie wake up its Jamie it's ok" she woke up and cried and was shaking. "They can't hurt you it's it's ok..."
At Erin's house
Erin sat at her dinner table finishing up some of Nickies school paper work when her phone rang.
Hey boss" she said "I just got word that Bryan janko is out of jail and you are free of the case" Erin told her some more things before hanging up and tucking nickie. She left Nickes room and walked in her bed room when her phone rang again. Caller ID Jamie. "Hey Jamie everything ok?" She asked. "Yeah Eddie was really upset after you left I felt bad for her was going to call you and find out if you know anything?" He said "aw where is Eddie" she said sadly. "She's on the couch I am about to go carry her to bed she was having a bad dream a minute ago about her dad?"  He said walking over and making sure she was ok. "What kind of bad dream"? Erin asked "ah something about not killing her.." Jamie stopped talking when there was a knock on the door. It was 11:30pm who would be knocking on his door at this time of night. "Jamie?" She said as he got quite "I have to go Erin there someone at the door". He hung up and Erin wondered who would be at his door this time a night?

Jamie opens the door to a surprise. Eddie talks to her mom again. Plus she becomes super stressed with every thing happening she forgets her and Jamie's 4 mouth Anniversary. There is a big change going to happen in the next one. :)
