Family dinner

It was Saturday and Eddie had a night tour so Jamie thought it was the perfect time to tell his dad about Eddie. Jamie walked in his house growing up to find his dad and grandpa in the living room. "Hey Jamie" his pop greeted him. "Hey Pop hey dad" he said his hellos and sat down "so what brings you here!" His Pop asked? "I was wondering if I could bring my girlfriend to church and dinner tomorrow" he watched as there faces grow surprised. "Yeah sure son, is it someone we know"? Jamie was about to answer when Danny and Linda came through the door. "Who?" Danny asked. "Jamie's girlfriend he wants to bring to dinner". Pop said. Danny raised his eye brows at his kid brother. And Linda smiled "yay!! Can't wait to meet her" Jamie was about to say you already have but he wanted to surprise the family. "Who's the girl?" Danny asked already having a idea. "You will have to wait and see" Jamie said standing up. "I will see yall all in the morning" with that he left the house.
"I wonder who it could be?" Linda said. Frank laughed and left the family to there guessing game.
He walked outside hoping to catch Jamie before he left. "Hey son wait up" he yelled causing Jamie to stop. "Yeah?" He said wanting to get home to Eddie.
"Is it officer janko" that made Jamie turn and look at him "how did you know?" Frank laughed. He knew the family would be shocked tomorrow. "I knew there was something between yall congrats son" Jamie said thanks and hugged his dad. He got in his car and drove home. When he got there his door was unlocked. "Eddie" he called though the apartment.
"Over here" he walked over to here in his kitchen making some food "sure make yourself at home" he said with a wink and kissed her while he stole a chip from her plate. "Your lucky your cute Reagan" she called after him. They settle on his couch watching the news. "So about tomorrow" Eddie said
"Yeah" Jamie asked. "I think I will go" Eddie said.
"Good because I already told them you were" Jamie laughed as Eddie hit him. "What did you tell them"? Eddie asked "that I was bringing my girlfriend" he kissed her taking her plate back to the kitchen. Eddie liked the sounds of that. "I will come by in the morning at 8:30 and pick you up" Jamie said as Eddie kissed him "ok Reagan"
The next morning:
"Beep beep beep" eddies alarm went off. She wasn't sure what today has in store for her but she was jumping in with both feet. She got up and got in the shower. She got out and did her hair and it was 7:30am Jamie would be there in a hour. She went to pick out something to wear. She decided upon a little pink dress with a jean jacket and cowgirl boots. As she went to get some breakfast there was a knock on her door. She opened it to find Jamie standing he looked so handsome. He wear a button up shirt and jeans. "Wow" Jamie stared at her. "Wow yourself" she said with a laugh. He walked in and kissed her.
"You look beautiful" he said kissing her cheek. "Ready?" He asked. She nodded and grabbed her bag. Jamie and Eddie pulled into the church parking lot to find the family waiting outside for them. He looked over at her "here we go"
Frank stood with his family already knowing who Jamie was coming keeping a straight face has the family guessed. "I bet it's the girl at the doctors office her and Jamie seemed to get alone" Linda said as Jamie's car pulled in to its normal parking spot. They all watched as Jamie went around to the other side and opened the door for a pretty little blond.
She turned around and Nikki yelled "Eddie" she squealed. The rest of the family stood in shock besides frank and Danny who had known and guessed it. Jamie walked up to his family holding eddies hand. "Well are we going in or not" Jamie asked walking in with Eddie. Who was feeling a bit out of place with Jamie's family. They finished church walking out Jamie looked over at Eddie who seemed to be ok. "We hope you will join us for dinner" frank said looking at Eddie who smiled at Jamie's family. "Yeah we will" Jamie answered for Eddie. After they finished greeting everyone they went back to the Reagan's house. Jamie looked over at Eddie while he was driving "so what did you think?" Eddie didn't stop looking out the window. "I really liked it thanks Jamie" Jamie smiled that's what he was hoping for. Before Jamie and Eddie got there. Danny and Erin were in the kitchen laughing at there brother "I can't believe he has the gut to bring her around this family" Danny laughed. "You two better behave at dinner this is the happiest I have ever seen Jamie" Linda said finishing her potatoes. Erin and Danny helped her with the food when Jamie and Eddie walked in. Frank smiled at the two. "Hey so officer janko is it ok that I call you edit." Frank asked "Eddie plz sir" frank nodded and said "you can call me frank" Eddie smiled and nodded. "Jamie you have a past today while the food is cooking why don't you go show Eddie the back yard" Linda said smiling. Jamie nodded and walked outside. "Wow Jamie I can't believe you grew up here" Eddie said. Jamie smiled and kissed her cheek "I am glad you like like it". Eddie looked at Jamie and pulled him in for a kiss. Jamie wrapped his arms around eddies back and pulled her close. Danny walked out to see them "hey love birds it's dinner time". Eddie backed away from Jamie and blushed. They walked hand in hand to dinner. The family took there places making a shot for Eddie. "So Eddie you up from pictures of this one after we eat"? Erin asked laughing. Jamie shot Erin a look. Jack looked over at Jaime and Eddie siting closer than Jamie sat next to nickie "do you love Eddie uncle Jamie?" He asked. Frank chocked on his water. Eddie blushed looking at her feet and Linda told jack it wasn't a appropriate question. Jamie grabbed eddies hand after seeing how embarrassed she was. "Sorry". Danny changed the subject when he asked Jamie how he liked being a detective
At Jamie's apartment:
Jamie laid down next to Eddie at his apartment and closed his eyes. "Jamie I really liked your family and all those embarrassing pictures of you" Eddie laughed and kissed his cheek getting close to him. "I am glad you do". Jamie pulled her in for a kiss. "And Eddie?" Eddie mumbled a what. "I do love you" he felt Eddie tense up next to him. "What?"....."I love you" Jamie said again. Eddie smiled the best smile Jamie has ever seen. "I love you too" he kissed her again and laid down next to her "good night" he said and Eddie nodded.
