Unknown Future

3 Days Later:
  Eddie yawned waking up with the sun coming through the window hitting her in the eyes. She quickly closed them again turning over to cuddle back into Jamie to find him gone. She whines sitting up looking around for him. Then she realizes the water in the bathroom was running. Smiling she jumped up running to join him. Considering she was already naked she just slid in behind him.
"Hmmm good morning beautiful wife." He kissed her neck.
"Gosh Jamie your so cheesy." She rolled her eyes wrapping her arms around his neck.
"What do you have planned for us today?" She asked.
"Well there is some pretty cool places around here, we could go on a helicopter ride, maybe rock climbing or there is a..." Eddie interrupted him
"A big king sized bed just outside this room with no kids around?" She giggled.
"That is an option too but I need some food if you want anymore of this." He lightly kissed her, which drove her crazy. He turned off the water and stepped out wrapping a towel around his waste walking out of the bathroom. Eddie smiles rolling her eyes and following him out she puts on one of his t-shirts while he order room service. She walked over getting her phone wanting to talk to Amy.
"Hey Eddie I'm surprised you too could separate long enough to call." Erin said answering.
"Yes Erin we are having a good time thanks for asking." She smiles.
"Oh I'm sorry, are you too having fun?" She laughed.
"Can I just talk to my daughter please." Eddie asked and seen Jamie raising his eyebrows.
"Yeah hold on." Erin headed up the stair to get Amy.
"What?" Eddie whispers when Jamie didn't stop looking at her like that.
"You called her your daughter." His smile gets even bigger, if possible Eddie wondered if it hurt to smile at wide.
"She is my daughter." She whispers back to him rolling her eyes.
"It's just the first time I have heard you say that." He walks over sitting with her on the bed.
Eddie turns the phone on speaker when she hears Amy say hello.
"Hey Amy!" Eddie smiled hearing Amy's sweet voice made her happy.
"Eddie! Is Jamie there?" She asked and Eddie frowns playful at Jamie. He takes the phone from her.
"Hey sweet pea!" He says.
"Hey I miss you and Eddie." She tells him and he nods over to Eddie silently telling her that she includes her.
"We miss you too are you doing okay?"
"Yep I'm okay." She tells them. Jamie and Amy talk about everything she's been doing and tells her they will be back on Sunday.
Eddie was enjoying hearing Amy but after thirty minutes she leans up and whispers into Jamie's ear;
"I'm not wearing panties." Jamie leaned back shaking his head at her. She was bitting her lip looking at him.
"Okay Amy we've gotta go okay we'll call you tonight." Jamie tells Amy.
"Yeah bye baby." Eddie says into the phone.
"Goodbye." She hangs up. Jamie put eddies phone on the side door then turns back her, she was laying on the bed smiling up at him.
"You unbelievable." He laughed sitting down on the side of the bed. When Eddie didn't say anything he laughs again;
"You talking dirty while our daughter is on the phone isn't going to cut it Mrs. Reagan." He tells her tickling her. She laughs trying to get free but Jamie had her trapped down;
"Okay, okay I'm sorry!" She laughed out trying to get him to stop.
"Good." He kisses her as the door bells rings.
"Really." She whines as he goes to get their food.
"I'm not hungry." She tells him.
"Oh my god, who are you and what have you done with my wife?" He looks at her in a confused face.
"Oh shut up." She rolls out of bed to join him.

Amy:
Amy walked downstairs in her pjs looking for Erin. She couldn't reach her bag of clothes Eddie had left for her. She had been trying for a while now but decided to ask for help. This place was still really big and unknown to her so she was just looking for anyone at this point. She didn't know any of the others names but Erin's cause that's who Jamie had lift her with after telling her she would be fine. She wasn't fine though she really missed them. Finally hearing some voice Amy walked into the kitchen. She saw Erin standing at the door talking to a man, he was the same man a few weeks ago that Jamie and Eddie met with about about to keep her.
"Are you sure there's nothing you can do?" Erin asked.
"So far this is where we stand now please I don't want to ruin their trip but could you pass on the news?" He asked. Erin nods and they say their goodbyes.
"Amy? What are you doing?" She walks over picking her up.
"I couldn't reach my clothes." Amy tells her.
Erin nods heading upstairs with Amy on her hip.
She puts her down on the bed and hands her the clothes.
"You need help?" Erin asked.
"No." Amy shook her head. Erin turned to leave the room but before she could leave Amy spoke up:
"Is that man taking me away?" She asked. Erin stood frozen in place for a moment then turned and smiled
"No everything's fine." Then she walked out.

Eddie & Jamie:
Eddie walked into their hotel room first wearing her bathing suit with a towel over her. Jamie followed after her smiling.
"That hot tube was a good idea." He said.
"I know right." She turned and kissed him.
"For dinner maybe we could go out there is a nice restaurant just down the street." Jamie suggests.
"Okay, there is a dress I've been wanting to wear out." She tells him heading into the bathroom to get ready. She was brushing her hair when her phone started ringing it was Erin.
"Hey?" Eddie answers confused Amy normally doesn't call till after nine. It was seven.
"Hey I'm sorry about bothering you guys I just need to tell you and Jamie something." She tells her.
"Okay hold on." Eddie walks into the bedroom sitting on the bed motioning for Jamie to come over to her.
"Okay Erin go ahead." Jamie looked confused sitting down beside her.
"Okay well I don't know how to say this...Mr. Matthew stopped by today, he said he couldn't get a hold of you guys and umm well there isn't a easy way to say this. Amy's father has came back into the picture he wants full custody. Sense he is the biological father the judge normally rules in there favor." Erin told them both.
Eddie couldn't believe what she was hearing, it wasn't possible. Jamie took the phone from her taking it off speaker. He stood up walking over to the dresser.
"What else did he say Erin?" He asked. Eddie couldn't hear her response she just sat in shock.
When he hang up he turned back to look at Eddie.
She didn't move a muscle sense he took the phone from her.
"What are we going to do?" She asked looking up at him.
"I don't know Eddie it's her dad." He told her sitting down beside her wrapping his arms around her.
"So he leaves her and now he just shows up wanting her?" She asked mad.
"It's not fair I know we'll fight this I promise." He kissed her head.
"I'm not feeling up to going out anymore." She tells him.
"Okay I'll get room service." He stands up going to order.
"I can't believe this." Eddie walked over to Jamie when he finished ordering. He wraps her up in a hug.
"We'll fight this trust me." Jamie was trying his best to Comfort Eddie but deep down he was angry. Angry that a man who put Amy in foster care can just show up and take her.
"She our little girl now, Sunday it was going to be official we have her room ready and everything!" Eddie looks up at him.
"I know Eddie it'll all be okay." Jamie told her but Eddie pushed him away from her.
"You don't know that Jamie! The future is totally unknown! And I can't stand the thought of any one else having Amy but us! Especially the man who put her there in the first place!" Eddie yelled at him with tears running down her face.
"I know I'm sorry Eddie just come here." He reached out his hand and she took it. He brought her close to him holding her.
"I'm going to do everything in my power to keep Amy." He tells her.
"I know and I love you for it I'm just scared."
"I love you too and I know but once we convince the court that we are the better choice we will have our daughter." He kissed her head.
"I've been having so much fun on our trip but maybe it's about time we head back I miss her." Eddie tells him.
"I think that's a good idea." Jamie replied.

Hey guys I know it's been a while sense a new update so sorry I had to have back surgery and I just didn't feel up to writing for those who didn't read my last chapter ❤️ this is the 18th chapter! Wow longest book I have ever written. As I said in the previous this book will only have 20 chapters then I'll start book 2 😘 thanks for reading!
