Chapter 18

Katniss' POV

It couldn't be possible. This happened.
Gale was murdered yesterday.
It didn't make any sense. Peeta and I went to visit Gale and we saw him today dead with a pool of blood. "Peeta, I'm scared now that the demon killed Gale," I told him. "He was my best friend." He nods upset too. They were not friends but they got along. "I'm sorry that this happened Katniss." I nod letting a tear slip out of my eye.

We walk out together and I see Prim finally home. "You're finally home," I spit irritated now I have no family now. "Yeah," she spits back irritated as well. God I hate my sister now and I think she should know and stop this shit she did with Rory and he ruined my little duck's life. Asshole. Ruiner.
"Prim, how was yesterday?" I question not wanting to start a fight. "Fine bitch, no need to ask me."
And this is what I mean guys. She does.

"What's your problem with me?" I ask. "Peeta's the problem I have with you," she says. "You spend so much time with him that you forgot all about me! I actually loved him as a person but I don't blame him. I blame you for leaving me and not being a real sister to me! I needed a role model to help me because mom wasn't there but you're just like her! A stupid ass bitch!"

Oh no she didn't. She was one too.
"What about you?" I fight back. "You're an asshole too! You could've asked for my help and you weren't around. And I miss the days I had Prim, I really do. Now you're making out with people, creating your own rules, and not helping yourself which breaks my heart because you are such a good person and I know you have that inside of you. And I wish you haven't gone to the bad girl yourself. I just wanted to spend time with you again!"

She looks at me with guilt and I gave her the same look but with tears in my ears and I look down embarrassed that Peeta had to hear the whole down. "Prim, I'm sorry for ruining your love for Katniss," Peeta said to her sadly. "It's all my fault." Prim shakes her head and wraps her arms around me crying. I was actually surprised by her actions because there was a chance she could return to me.

I said there was a chance guys. .
Peeta backs away. "I'll give you space guys." "No," I say pulling him to us. "We want you here." Prim chuckles and smiles and finally I was happy to have solved problems. "So Peeta, did you finally have sex with my sis yet?" Peeta blushes and my face was flushed red like lipstick actually. "Prim!" I yell annoyed for her saying that. "Yes." Man I wish I didn't tell her because her reaction was the worst.

"YES!" She yells. "FINALLY!!!" I raise my hand to stop her and she continues. "She did it! She did it! She did it! It's her birthday!" "She f-"
"Prim, Gale's dead." Her face was pale and she didn't like death. She was afraid of it. "Who killed him?" She asks. "I don't know, that's what I want to know," I say curious. "Maybe it's the demon wanting us to be broken."

I nod agreeing because one thing I know, is that this creature hates me so much. "Anyone else in pain?" She asked. "Ryan," Peeta answers. "Where is he?" Prim asks scared. "Hospital," he answer. "He got hurt by a fire." Prim freaked out out of nowhere and since today has been a day full of deaths and pain. I couldn't blame her. "Let's go."

The ride there wasn't that long and I was thankful to have Peeta since he drived us. As we entered, Prim was carrying her gift to him, a card and a nice expensive PS4. "Woah, where did you buy that?" I ask. "I bought it at a game store," she answers. "I've saved my allowance and I decided to buy it for him." I smirked and Prim gave me a look. "What?" She asks. "YOU LOVE HIM!" I yell. All the people stared and I looked down.

After the lady told me the room, I see people staring at me and I covered my face. As I entered the room, I see Ryan better than he should be. "Hey," he greets. "Prim," he pays attention to her arrival. "Glad to see you." She smiled sweetly and kissed his cheek. "You too." I mouth Peeta aww and he did the same. I stop when Ryan asks us about the sad things that happened.

I sighed and told him. It took a while but it was worth it because it made us hate that demon. We werw going to fight it in a team and hoping thatbit won't stand in our way. I hope because our hearts as one is stronger than I could imagine.
