"What the f-", Arciel almost exclaimed being interrupted again by Aqua. "That's rude.", she said. "Wait, am I dreaming?", Arlynne said. "Cool, isn't it?", Arjhay exclaimed, surprised also by Aqua talking.
"Wait, let me think... You're a guardian?", Arciel said after five minutes of thinking. "Yes, Arjhay's guardian.", she replied.
"Wait, what's a guardian?", asked Arlon. "A guardian is like a pet animal, to put it simply. Everyone has their own guardian, corresponding to their magic power. A guardian has it's own power to protect and obey their master. But they suddenly disappeared after the World Magical War some centuries ago.", Arciel replied.
"Yeah, it's the truth. But now, we are all coming back to serve again our masters.", Aqua said. "How about us?", Arlynne asked. "A guardian is destined to unite with their own master anytime, anywhere but they mostly come before you reach 18 years old.", Arciel said.

Sunday morning came and still, Arjhay can't believe he owns a guardian already. "Morning master!", Aqua greeted him. "I don't like being called 'master', just call me Arjhay.", Arjhay said. They went downstairs to eat breakfast after washing up. 'It's Lenny's birthday today. Better give her a present.', he thought.
"Goodmorning-", the two girls we're interrupted by shouts outside that said 'master!'. As the sound comes near, they saw a variety of animal scrambling their way into the house, magically leaving no dirt or mess as they run.
They watch them until a wolf came to Arlynne, a falcon flew to Arciel, a shi tzu came to Arianne and a phoenix flew to Arlon. Nobody talked after that. "Uhmm, why did you came all at once?", asked Aqua to phoenix. "Well, the otter insisted so as the two wolves and dolphin so we came along.", replied the phoenix. "You're supposed to come one by one! The queen will get angry!", Aqua insisted.
"Don't worry, I'll handle it.", Arjhay said. "Thanks Arjhay. Okay, let us introduce ourselves.", Aqua said.

"So you've been waiting for two months to show yourselves?", Arciel asked. "Yes, exactly.", the falcon replied. "But some showed themselves already.", Arjhay said. "And we are them.", said phoenix.
The discussion ended at dinner. Reports on tv also said the arrival of many guardians to the houses of many mages. Arjhay even got a call from Illiana saying a snake entered her room and she screamed, only to find out that the snake is her guardian.
Monday morning came without any disturbances except some late arrival of guardians to some mages that caused misunderstandings. The academy allowed animals to enter for some unknown reason.
In Arjhay's room, his classmates are proudly showing their guardians to one another. Illiana has a glass-snake, Erliane had a violet owl, Eljake had a fluffy bird, Jerimuel had a jaguar and Jenrich had a horse. Luckily, all guardians can change their form into cute little animals to save space, you wouldn't have a whale entering a room right?
"Oh Arjhay! Where's your guardian?", Erliane asked while her owl perched on her left shoulder. "She's hiding.", Arjhay said. "Shy, I guess?", Jerimuel asked, hands caressing his jaguar's head. "Apparently.", Arjhay replied.
"All students and teachers, please come to the summoning grounds for an announcement. Thank you.", said the speaker.
They came to the coliseum and Arjhay's group went to their usual spot. Mr. Xylo announced first. "Goodmorning students! I know that you're all getting confused about the sudden arrival of the guardians but we need to cope with it. I will call on Mr. Flavius to educate all of you about them. Sir.", he said and sat to his seat again.
"Goodmorning students, now, let me educate you on the guardians. The guardians are special animals that can use a little magic and can talk. They are all born to serve their chosen masters. The reason why they left after the WMW was because many casualties happened, affecting them greatly and have no choice but to leave humanity to recover. It took centuries for them to recover after the war. But now, they are ready to serve humanity again.", he narrated.
"Very well then, let's continue the summoning!", he added.
"Thank you sir Flavius, let's call on the ninth grades to start summoning.", Arjhay said on the microphone.

Two days passed before Mr. Flavius congratulated the students on their successful summoning. The classes resumed after Mr. Flavius left the island on the same day.
On their magic class that day, they are told to present their guardians in the class. "Arjhay, your turn.", said their magic class teacher. He stood up and walk to the front. "Classmates, this is Aqua, my guardian.", he said while the cat entered the room and jumped on Arjhay's head. "Glad to meet you all.", she said while sitting.
The class silenced, then noticed the same color of Arjhay's hair and eye to the cat's fur and eyes. "You're colors are the same, how come?", their teacher asked. "Don't know ma'am.", he said and shrug. He went to his seat, Aqua still sitting on top of his head.
"You're tensed, don't worry. They're all good friends.", Arjhay said while caressing Aqua's head.
In their Training class, they all summoned their weapons. "Wow, you're weapon's a flute.", said Aqua. "Yes, but I'm still not familiar with some things.", he said.
"We will have sparring today, ready yourselves.", their teacher said. Arjhay came last and will fight Chris. After making a bow, they fought.
Chris zapped in front of Arjhay but before he kicks him, Arjhay jumped and landed on his still hanging foot. "Nice move.", Arjhay said. Chris shot electric darts to Arjhay but he appeared later, meters away.
Chris fired electro balls and Arjhay hit them with his flute, coating them with bubbles at the same time. When Chris stopped firing, Arjhay grouped the bubbles together and bursted them by closing his hand, producing mist and a little spark. "Good fight, you can go back to your seats now.", their teacher said.

"Lenny! Did you receive my birthday gift yesterday?", Arjhay said. "Oh yes. Thank you for the T-shirt yesterday!", she replied. "You're welcome!", Arjhay exclaimed. "How about we have a night stroll?!", asked Illiana.
"Night stroll?", Jerimuel almost shouted. "Ohh, a night stroll! Count us in!", exclaimed Jebrie who heard Jerimuel. "Yeah.", Haley and Angel said. "Aha! Count us in too!", said Alfel who was with Ronydan, Crithany, Ercera, Dhione, Mir, Kelian, Aena, Arden, Abrina, Chris and Jona.
"Night stroll? Where?", Jena asked. Following her were Irralyn, Angel, Sief, Lorry and Jess.
"Oh my...", Jerimuel gasped.
