Arjhay's POV

Monday again, and here we are, still practicing. As I think of it, we're training for almost four days.

Still, no clue on our new magic and guardian even after my new brother, Ace was born last Feb 19. We contacted mom and dad already but even they don't know anything. They just started researching it after they knew what happened to us and my friends with our research company.

As days passed by, we friends started practicing with our new magic but only succeeded in switching our magic to the new one to use it. That is, changing the magic we control. Like me, at first, I can control  water and after I switched magic, I can now control ice. But we still cannot use two magic at once.

I stood in silence as I watch my five classmates attack five bubbles in front of them. The five meters diameter bubbles are situated in front of them as they slash their weapon in it. Their attacks look futile because their attacks would just pass through the bubble, but they can still feel the resistance of the bubble.

"Keep it up! You can do it more faster!", I shouted, after noticing their slow and sluggish movements. "Alright, alright!", Jerimuel shouted as he stopped and began jumping and firing fire bullets again at the bubble.

At afternoon, the practice was finally ended for tomorrow is the starting day of the monthly battles. The battles will last four days, the last day being the finals round to pick the top 3 fighters.

****************

"Go Jenrich! Kick him in the face!", I shouted to Jenrich down below as he fight a ninth grade regular. He won after knocking him unconscious with an energy kick.

This day, mini arenas scattered across the field wherein two students fight. They are all 15m x 10m in dimension, allowing the students to fight freely. There were no fighting gears, only our magical weapons. The guardians were told not to join the fight, too.

This day was just the elimination day. The aim was to cut at least half of the 2,100 students competing. If you're asking where are the students that are not competing, they are in tge bleachers scattered around the field to let all VA students watch the battle.

I fought a same grade student. Luckily, there will be no different gender fighting each other so I won't have any guilt in fighting. After a chop on the back of his neck, he was knocked out.

Second day came, the exactly 1,000 students fought again. Eljake, Illiana and Erliane lost this time after fighting eleventh graders but they put up a great fight.

I fought a ninth grader, a fire mage. After encaging him in a water dome, he surrendered and I won.

Third day came, the semi finals. Here, they will pick the top 15 students by how fast they defeat their opponent. I came second, knocking unconscious an eleventh grader after firing water pops on his forehead on twelve seconds. There is only one second gap between me and the first one who is a twelfth grader. He will be automatically qualified in fighting on the third part of the finals.

Being the only eighth grader to join the top 15 and ranking second after knocking an eleventh grader unconscious, it did not surprised me that many were shocked or even surprised.

They even asked my mage level which I left unanswered. Hahaha...

"Woah Arjhay! You beat that loser unconscious a while ago!", Eljake exclaimed, high-fiving me as we sat in our room. "Really, thanks for beating that loser for me.", Jerimuel said. "You're welcome.", I replied.

"Okay guys, I promise I'll win this thing for our class! Go SCA! (special class A)", I shouted after standing, full of pride, energy and determination.

"Woooohhh (sorry, I don't know what to write but their reaction just sounds like that), go Arjhay! For SCA! For the special classes!", Alfel shouted. The class cheered for me and for our awaiting victory.

**********************

"Let's call on the last but not the least, pair. Let's see who'll win! Okay, Rex Ducursina, come in front.", Ms. Veridillean spoke to the microphone. A twelfth grader boy, along with his guardian, a red wolf, walked to the center of the field as some students clapped, especially his classmates.

In the finals, the guardian can participate in the fight, that's what the headmistress told to the first pair who fought. "Next, here is... Arjhay Sezfolleria!", she shouted on the mic as she called my name. An uproar louder than a busy traffic came from the crowd. Some shouting cheers but many are shouting my name.

I went out of the tent and walked to the fabric hiding the entrance of the tent. "This is it, Aqua. Let's do our best!", I said to her as she stood next to me.

Arciel's POV

"I told you he would reach the finals!", Haide exclaimed along with Analia and their guardians.

"Of course, he's strong. Do you think he'll let them beat him?", I remarked when Xhyner and Jake praised Arjhay's power.

"Oh, it's the last match!", exclaimed Analia, who is now standing. "Who is his opponent this time?", asked Jake.

Arjhay's record is still awesome. To think that he is the only eight grader who reached the finals who are all composed of many twelfth graders and three eleventh graders?!

I remember yesterday, many praised him for beating an eleventh grader within 12 seconds. Even I can't do that much.

"Let's call on the last but not the least, pair. Let's see who'll win! Okay, Rex Ducursina, come in front.", Ms. Veridillean spoke to the microphone. A twelfth grade fire mage and a red wolf walked towards the center if the arena.

I carefully watched him and instantly decided that he will lose later. He's strong too but Arjhay's stronger.

Later, Arjhay's he was called and I needed to cover my ears to block the very loud noise that erupted from the students watching.

And after a few seconds, he emerged out of the tent and you know what will happen so I made soundproof leaves to fully cover my ears.
