Chapter 3: Part 3

Arjhay's POV

After winning the battles, I was given the privilege not to attend the incoming tests anymore. I will have perfect scores on each tests, as they say and I will also have perfect activities, recitations and attendances on the whole month of March even if I'm not present. This is what many students dearly want to have.

There are other privileges too but they're too many to elaborate.

So, here I am, in our room on the first Monday of the month.

At recess, "Arjhay, I've been dying to ask you this. How did Aqua changed her form?", Jerimuel asked. The four nodded.

"I don't know. She just told me that she can do it and that's what happened.", I narrated to them, half expecting they'll agree with it. "Okay.", Illiana said.

"So, what really happened last Friday?", Jenrich asked me. "Jed seemed to be very angry to you and after he burned your clothes, you seemed pissed of as well.", Eljake added.

"It was my first time meeting him there but he instantly got angry. I don't know why, but he insists I'm offending him even though I don't. He keeps bragging his fame and also his family company's successes.", I narrated to them.

"Looks like the spirit of envy and jealously influenced a soul again!", Erliane exclaimed. "His snake sounded alike. She kept bragging about them too.", Aqua said.

"Enough with the chitchat, review already! The tests are next week!", Dahlia, Erliane's guardian exclaimed while reading a book. "Alright.", Illiana said and they started to review again.

Friday morning came and all of my classmates are currently reviewing their notes and books for the upcoming exam next week.

"Why don't we have a sleep over tomorrow?", Illiana asked. "Shhhh, keep it silent.", Jerimuel said, trying to prevent what happened on the night stroll again. "Who's house?", Eljake asked. "Arjhay.", said Erliane. "Sorry, but our house is off limits right now.", I said, remembering the other guardians.

"Oh, who's house then?", Jerimuel asked. "Your house.", I said.

"My house? Why-"

"Okay, tomorrow at five pm.", I exclaimed, cutting off Jerimuel.

"Darn it!"

At one o'clock, Illiana urged us to go to Jerimuel's house for unknown reasons. "Come on! We'll be late!", Illiana said. For today, I wore a blue highlighted dark ¾'s, a dark blue shirt with red linings and white and blue rubber shoes.

Illiana and Erliane wore simple dresses with doll shoes and the two boys wore jeans, dark shirts and sneakers.

We walked with our guardians towards their house which was a long walk away. We arrived their house but he was not there nor anyone until I heard a mass conducting nearby. I headed towards the source of the sound, followed by the others, and found him seated in a mass conducted in an enclosed hall.

He spotted us and went to us, somewhat hurrying a little. "Your too early! You should've called me!", he exclaimed. "Yes! Where can we seat?", Illiana asked.

Some head turned towards our place which is at the side of the entrance. Its obvious that they're trying hard containing their excitement-like expression while facing us (me).

Jerimuel guided us to the back seat and we seated there, listening to the mass.

After what feels like years, fifty minutes to be exact, the mass ended with the common ending.

Finally, we went to Jerimuel's house as quickly as we can before the stares turned into chaos. Silence met us into their house until Mrs. Bartillan welcomed us in their living room and offered us some snacks.

"Why did you come so early?", Jerimuel asked after sitting. I pointed at Illiana so as the others, too. "Nothing, just want to see if you're preparing for the sleep over but you seemed to just started preparing.", she said.

"Hahaha, that was a good one!", I laughed. Oh, what a nice reply, indeed.

"Anyway, let's go to my room.", Jerimuel said. We all followed him upstairs and after we entered a room, we placed our bags in a table there. His room, unlike mine, was obviously smaller. There's a bed, a table, a chair, a window and a closet.

"Wow, it's perfectly clean. Unlike my room, the maids always clean my room.", I remarked, noticing it's neatness. "Thanks.", Jerimuel said. "Now what to do...", Illiana said while thinking.

"Oh! A cat!", I shouted when I saw a cat. Oh, how I love petting cats! I instantly caught the cat walking along the hallway outside the room.

I tapped it's head and hugged it while entering the room, eyes closed. "Arjhay?", a voice asked. "Mmm?", I asked still eyes closed.

A hand touched my shoulder and I realized what I was doing and placed the cat down, feeling embarassed. "Sorry", I mumbled. "Are you that addicted to cats? Nix is surprised.", Jerimuel exclaimed. "Yeah, I can barely hold myself in petting our classmates' cat guardians.", I replied.

The five laughed. I felt heat rising in my face but I didn't sweat. "Hahahaha, I didn't knew you love cats! Hahaha.", Jenrich said. "Yeah, yeah.", I said while petting Aqua and Nix.

Three hours passed by with story telling, chatting, playing games and other activities that made them tired. "Oh! I remembered that mom and dad will attend a meeting so they will arrive at seven. My sister will arrive at six thirty from a group project.", Jerimuel exclaimed. "So whats the point?", Erliane asked. "I'm gonna make dinner tonight.", he replied.

"Okay so, let us help you then!", I exclaimed. "Sure, Ill be glad by your help.", he replied. We went outside his room to the stairs outside it, our guardians following us.

"Do you have a garden?", I asked while we walk down the stairs. "Yes, it's in the back of the house.", he replied. "Let's go there.", I said. "Huh? Why go there?", Jenrich asked.

"Easy, I'll just go and check some things that will be helpful to use in cooking!", I replied.
