        ~Lexi's P.O.V~

Thud Thud! I bolted upright. At first I forgot where I was, then I remembered. I was going to Paris!

"Please stay seated, and keep your seat belts on, for we are now landing." A woman announced over the speakers. I slept the whole way through? Well, I guess planes aren't that bad. I looked out of my window, I could see the airport from here. We were sliding across the runway, until finally coming to a halt. I looked over at Angel. She had her head resting on that bloke that helped me to my seat's shoulder. She had taking a liking to him for sure. Which was unusual for her, she didn't trust easily after her ex boyfriend Nick. They had been going steady for two years, little did she know he had been cheating on her for much too long.

I shook Angel's shoulder, being careful not to wake up the boy next to her. She groaned quietly before blinking herself awake. She looked over to the boy's shoulder that her head had been resting on. Her eyes went wide. She sat up slowly as her cheeks flushed. I just laughed to myself.

"Morning, sunshine. Were here!" The excitement in my voice was unmissable, and it brought a cheeky smile to Angel's face. The kid next to her slowly awoke too, due to the noise of the teachers helping kids with their carry on's. He turned sleepily to me and smiled.

"Glad to see you've regained some color." His american accent was heavy.

"Oh, yes," I laughed. "I'm not used to travel. Even when I moved from London, I took a train. Planes scare me a bit." He nodded in understanding, and turned to Angel.

"It's a good thing your head is comfortable, you know." He winked at her before standing up and reaching for a small angry birds backpack he carried with, he left to stand in line without another word. Oh American's and their silly flirting ways. I waited until he was out of sight before whispering to Angel:

"Oh yes, it looked cozy. I trust it you had a nice sleep?" I joked with her. I saw a blush creep up onto her cheeks. She avoided my stare, and just laughed along with me. As we stood in line behind Blake, we made small talk with him until we boarded off the plane. We all filed out into the airport. As the whole lot of us were walking to the luggage center, I looked around. Men, woman, and children all scrambled around. The fashion here was so unique. Lots of people were dressed in stripes. Many had little pieces of cloth tied around their necks. What a peculiar style. Many people rushed around on the phone, speaking in french, if not french then american with very heavy french accents, rolling the R's and such.

As all the kids on the field trip got their luggage, we boarded the charter bus that would take us to our hotels. It was night time, so we wouldn't be able to go sight seeing or anything today, oh well. Tomorrow, I heard that we would go to a french museum, I could hardly wait!

The whole ride to the hotel, I studied the streets. Lexi let me have the window seat since she had taken it on the plane. It was truly breathtaking. Not even London was this beautiful. Plazas upon plazas cornered every street. Strip malls on every corner. Tons of gas lit lamps crowded the streets, making every spot of Paris seem aglow. Whilst I was staring out the window, I could feel someone's eyes boring into me. Watching my every move. I scanned the bus and found Blake watching me from the back of the bus, where he was accompanied by the one and only, Laura Wichmond. Stuck up brat. I locked eyes with him, even though I was as far away as I was. Laura caught us staring eachother down and leaned her head upon his shoulder. All he did was shrug her off and she looked hurt. I felt privileged that he was so intent on watching me that he ignored her. I blushed and looked away to find the hotel coming up on our right.

As we got to the twentieth floor, the teachers let us pick our rooms. Boys on one side of the hall, girls on the other. Our curfew was ten tonight, so if we wanted any food we had to go to the cafe right now. Lex and I did as we were told and grabbed something small, we both didn't have much of an appetite tonight. After choosing our rooms, (Which fortunately, it was two to a room so it worked out perfect.) Lexi and I walked into our own room. The walls were painted gold, which matched the brown and gold silk sheet layed upon the two beds. Dark wood tables and chairs were carefully set upon the space. The place was beautiful. There were two bathrooms, so it would save us hassel in the morning. I excused myself to go to the bathroom after setting my luggage down next to the bed I called dibs on. I flushed the toilet and washed my hands when Lexi's voice shouted out to me.

"Angel! Come quickly!" Oh goodness, what now? I walked out of the bathroom to find her staring intently out of the window.

"What is it?" I asked hesitantly.

"Oh just come here!" She whined impatiently. I walked over to her and stuck my head through the curtains. Oh wow. How gorgeous! There, with a view overlooking all of Paris, you could see it. Clear as day, there was the the Eiffel Tower! I gasped and pressed my hand to my mouth. How spectacular.

"Lovely, isn't it?" She breathlessly said. I just nodded my head. It was huge, and golden. Literally  All the lights upon it were bright and yellow, making it seem as if it were as golden and brilliant as the sun. The rest of the night went swell. Lex and me had a ginormous pillow fight, I had won. Finally, we had shut the lights out to get some rest. The long day had provided us with more than enough reason to be exhausted. I heard Lexi turn over and whisper to me from her bed.

"Were going to have fun, aren't we?" Her bright smile lit up the room.

        "Damn right." I winked back.
