      ~Angel's P.O.V~

The play was Romeo and Juliet. Of course. It was actually really good, considering the plot of it. It was almost over, Romeo just found out Juliet died. He was laying by her side whilst she layed in her coffin, unmoving. The acting was a bit un realistic but for the most part, I give them props, what Shakespear wrote was a whole nother language. I looked over to Lexi, her eyes were planted on the stage, but they seemed a little glazed over, like she wasn't really here. Like her mind was somewhere else. I was used to her being quiet but this was different, she seemed.. Upset.

I was staring at Lexi for so long I hadn't realized I missed the ending of the play. Everyone stood up and started clapping, and I was sitting there watching my best friend with a question mark over my face. I stood up and joined the applause. From the corner of my eye, I saw Blake. He was clapping but staring at me. I stared back, for a second it seemed like it was just us two in the theater. Like there was no one else, and what happened on the stairs never really existed, but the images of sloppy kisses being trailed down his face and neck returned and had to turn away so he wouldn't see the salty tear that streamed down my face.

I could tell Angel was staring at me back in the theater. I needed to snap out of my daze. What I was planning for Laura and Blake didn't need to upset Angel. This was our trip anyhow! We didn't need Blake. Right? The teachers led us out into the lobby of the Auditorium. Angel walked next to me, even when she wasn't in a good mood, she looked great. Me and angel took a seat on the floor against a satin colored wall, whilst the teachers huddled with their too high pants, and clip boards. Discussing our whereabouts for the rest of the day. I checked my watch and adjusted my beanie. It was only one o' clock. What else could we do?

"Alrighty kids," Mrs. E sing songed from the front of the kids sitting against the wall. "So, the play was short, and considering the whole day shouldn't be wasted, were allowing you all to do whatever you want the rest of the day." A loud cheer arose over the lobby from all the teenagers. I looked towards Angel, and even she, smiled. I mouthed 'Awww Yeah' To her and she laughed.

"Okay, okay! Listen," One of the chaperones pipped up from Mrs. E's side. "You have to be back at the hotel at four. And you can no more then a mile away from the hotel. You must be with at least one other person. The teachers, staff, and security will be patroling the area as you do your thing, so don't think you won't be watched!" She added the last part with a wink. Her okie oklahoma accent made her seem all the more American.

"Now, get out of here!" Mrs. E shouted with a cheeky grin. I stood up quickly with Angel. We practically dashed out of the lobby and out onto the streets. This was going to be fun.

Lex and I hit the mall. We went to almost every store and bought something. There was this blonde guy named Cole who asked for my number in Forever 21. Lexi and I laughed so hard, but I gave it to him. He looked about thirteen. American boys these days! Lexi dragged me into Starbucks, ice coffee was her favorite. I just ordered some tea. Like I usually would. We were having so much fun. Lexi was running in Areopostal and tripped and fell into a manican, knocking it over and getting us thrown out of the store. We laughed the whole way through the store. We ordered our ice coffee, and started walking around the mall again. Lexi was usually shy, but around me she always would hang loose. I liked to know she felt comfortable with me. We were like sisters.

A security gaurd started running towards us.

"Hey! You two! Stop there!" He had an Irish accent. At least it wasn't an annoying hillbilly american one. Lexi looked at me with a shocked face, then the shock transformed into humor as she grabbed my arm and pulled me, out of the mall, out of the parking lot, out of everything. We were running so fast. Running fast, down a street which was unfamiliar. We were still a mile away from the hotel, right? I didn't want to get in trouble. I didn't realize where we were, I had my hands on my knees and was doubled over gasping for breath, until I looked up because I heard a buzzing machine sound. My eyes grew wide as I saw where Lexi had dragged me. I looked at the sign in front of me "Inked" A tattoo parlor??

I looked over to Lexi, this must not have been where she wanted to take me, right? The mischievous grin on her face said otherwise.
