~Lexi's P.O.V~
Art class was actually cool. I learned how to properly shade and make contrast in pictures. I got my own sketch pad and so far that was my favorite class. Two more periods rolled by and i was starting to think that this school was pretty good. I mean, the teachers were all nice and the subjects were easy. I wonder how Angels doing.
"Hey, how you doing so far? (:" I sent the text quickly and slid my phone back into my bag until it buzzed.
"Oh, swell!!" I could picture her saying it in her sarcastic tone she has.
"What happened now?" I swear if she already got in trouble.
"Damn teachers giving me crap, thats all. Get back to class! ;)"
"Alright, see ya at lunch. (:" I kept off my phone for the rest of class and was happy when the bell rang.
I followed a group of people that looked like they knew where they were going. Thankfully they led me to the lunchroom. The cafeteria was huge. I mean huge. There was tables and booths to be sat in. There was even a courtyard with benches and fountains to sit at. I Saw Angel standing in line, and walked over to join her. The food choices were spectacular. Nachos and chili cheese, pizza, or a chicken sandwich to choose from. They had a variety of sides to choose from; salads to fruit bowls and chips. I settled on a chicken sandwich with a cup of mixed fruit and chips with a water. Angel and I found a bench nestled in between two cherry blossom trees. Light snow was falling, and i loved every snowflake.
"Are you even listening to me?" I heard Angel say. I immediately snapped back to the real world, and not my imaginary one where all there was was my thoughts, myself, and I.
"Im sorry, what?" Smooth Lexi, smooth.
"I said, i saw a paper today in the hall, about a field trip." She took a nacho and dipped it in some chili. "You'll never believe where its going."
"Enlighten me." I challenged.
"Paris." She said with a smile.
"No way!" I said while taking a bite of my sandwich.
"Uh huh," She said matter of factly. "And get this: Its free. As long as you stay trouble-free for these two weeks leading up to it."
I bit my lip. "Think we can manage?" I said jokingly
"Oh, we'll manage! Were definatly not missing out." Her blue eyes waited for a reaction but i gave none. I wasnt sure about my feelings exactly about going Paris.. Im not a big traveler. I mean, it would probably fun, but i mean you have to take a plane. And i mean what if you get kidnapped.. Or lost... or-
"Hey, you okay? Its not a for sure thing Lex, Its just a suggestion." I heard the concern in her voice as she interrupted my thoughts.
"Yeah, i know. Im fine. Just thinking.." I hesitated. "I Cant wait, i'll stay trouble free." I winked.
