I stepped down the steps of my house, throwing my bag over my shoulder. The wind chill was cold today and it was snowing. Little specs of white bliss fell down in silent patterns, coating everything in a white fluffy blanket. It was truly beautiful, but so damn cold. I zipped up my stylish black jacket and started walking to Angel's. When i saw her waiting for me outside i gave her a smirk. She was dressed in blue jeans with a white sweater and some cute brown Uggs. Her golden hair fell in perfect waves all the way down to the middle of her back. God my friend was so gorgeous. And no,Im not hitting on her. Im totally straight.

"Ready?" As i talked, little clouds from my hot breath escaped my mouth, engulfing me in a somewhat smoke.

"Ready as ill ever be," She said sarcastically. "I hate first days. Especially being Miss "New Girl". Not in the mood."

"Dont get you panties in a bunch; Well be fine." We talked about how the first day of school would be the rest of the walk there. I didnt really think much about it, but we were pretty bad kids. Always getting referrals, and getting sent to the office. The way we met was in sixth grade, in detention. Now here we are, eleventh grade, and getting expelled from school with eachother. Nothing could bring us closer.

As we got closer the school i bent down to fix my black boot, and wiped some slush off it.

"Bloody hell, these boots." I muttered under my breath. Clearly not quiet enough because Angel chuckled.

        "Hey, they're cute." She said.

As we approached the school I noticed how big it was. It had to be at least three stories. It was all brick, with many windows. It had flowers and tall oaks along the sidewalk leading up to the doors. Angel and I walked into the building, and into an office. Behind the granite counters, sat a stout red head writing passes and taking notes while answering calls. She hung up the phone after seeing us approach her. She scribbled down one last note and started talking.

"You two must be our newest students," She gave a motherly warm smile. "Here are your schedules." She handed us each a slip of paper with our classes.

"Thank you." I said with a grin.

"Oh wow!  Your accent! Your british!?" She asked with a gasp. Was it that rare?

"Yes." Me and Angel both said with  a laugh.

"Well isn't that something. Off you go! Have a good first day girls. If you need anything, Im Mrs. Patty."

         ~Angel's P.O.V~

I walked side by side with Lexi out of the office. We studied our schedule. I had geometry first period, she had Art. I half-hugged her goodbye.

"See ya."  I said with a wink.

"Knock 'em dead." She winked back.

We went off our separate ways, I took the hallway to the east corridor and when i finally found geometry class i hesitated before entering. As i walked in i was astounded to how many people there were. At least twenty something kids in the class. A nappy headed blonde that was wearing an overly long skirt (is it right for me to call someone blonde if i was?..) Was instructing some lesson on the board, until she saw me.

"And you are?.." She said with such attitude i wanted to slap her.

"Im Angel Patterson. New student?" I replied with just as much sass. I heard a couple kids mutter something about my british accent whilst blondey rolled her eyes.

"Well Mrs. Patterson, dont just stand there. Take a seat will you?"

"Where do i sit?." I gritted my teeth. She was making me mad.

"In the office, if you keep up with that attitude." She sneered.

You did NOT just say that teacher- lady.

We were going to have a problem.
