Besitos- Pierce The Veil

The class dragged on until Benjamin came back, marking the end of the period.
"Miss Gunn, Mr. Bruce, please take a seat." Mrs. Saunders spoke sternly, making me fall onto the nearest seat.
Benjamin wasn't so easily intimidated. He had his back rested against the door, glaring at the teacher. "Would you like to explain what happened? While sitting in your seat, Benjamin."
"And what if I don't?" He tested.
"Then you'll get a suspension."
He smiled, showing perfect teeth. "Sounds great to me."
"An in-school suspension." Mrs. Saunders clarified. Ben narrowed his eyes, removing himself from the wall. "Next to Miss Gunn."
He grumbled something under his breath, taking the seat next to me. "So tell me, what happened?"
I opened my mouth, only to get cut off by Benjamin. "Well I was reminding Carmen here to pay attention, when she flat out told me some hurtful words."
I gasped, feeling like he had just stabbed me in the stomach repeatedly.
"Is that true, Miss. Gunn?"
"What? I...no! I just ignored him!" I stammered. "I didn't say anything to him at that point!"
"Liar." Ben sung.
My eyes started to sting. "Please, Mrs. Saunders, you have to believe me! I didn't say anything! I swear!"
She gave me a look of pity, then turned to Benjamin. "Do you have any evidence of that?"
"Yes, I do. My mate, James, heard the whole thing."
"Mr. Cassells heard what happened?" She questioned.
"Sure did," he smirked. "You can call him up now, I'm sure he'd love to prove my side right."
I felt like screaming. The world was always against me. Everything always goes wrong for me.
"Is that alright with you, Miss Gunn?"
I swallowed the lump in my throat, knowing that this James kid would surely lie for his friend. The odds were already stacked against me, so I gave up.
"There's no need, Mrs. Saunders. Benjamin's story is correct." I sighed, feeling so weak.
I look at Benjamin, whom had the biggest smile on his face. My breathing hitched, as I felt the tears trying to escape.
"I'll start heading to Mr. Redford's office..." I muttered.
Mrs. Saunders smiled sadly. "He'll go easy on you, dear."
"No he won't." I whispered.
She sighed, looking at her watch. "You two are dismissed. I'll call your next teacher and give you a slip."
I nodded. "Sorry for wasting your time, Mrs. Saunders."
I grabbed my backpack and with my head down, walked out the room. Benjamin's laughter rang through the halls.
"You're so pathetic! Oh lord, that was too much fun."
My lip trembled. "Leave me alone, please." Tears unwillingly fell from my eyes.
"And what if I don't? What're you going to go about it?" He paused. "That's right, nothing."
I dropped my head and started to walk faster. "Aw, c'mon. You're no fun." He called.
He started to walk faster, catching up to me in an instant. "I said leave me alone!" I yelled, turning towards him.
His eyes widened at the sight of me, but soon the look of shock was replaced with the look of amusement. "Are you crying? You're more pathetic than I thought!" He laughed.
I ran to the office, not even caring to look back again.
The receptionist gave me a dirty look, making me feel even worse. I sat on the seat next to his office, my anxiety building.
I waited for what felt like an eternity until Mr. Redford opened the door. "Miss Gunn, please come into my office."
I nodded slowly, getting up and going into his office. I sat myself on the seat across from him, holding my backpack for comfort.
"It has come to my attention that you have been disrupting Mrs. Saunders class, snapping at Benjamin Bruce, and lying to cover yourself. Am I correct?"
No, I've been lying to cover for someone else.
"Yes, sir." I muttered.
He glared at me, making me shift in my seat. There was a moment of silence as Mr. Redford thought up my punishment.
"For disrupting your classroom, verbally assaulting a student, and lying, I'm giving you five Saturday detentions." He stated.
My heart broke into countless pieces. "Okay, sir. Thank you for your time." I mumbled, quickly leaving his office.
I rushed out on the verge of tears. I was shaking violently, trying to calm myself down.
Benjamin was standing there, his clothes reeking of smoke. "What'd he give you?"
I gave him a blank look. "Nothing to your concerns."
He shrugged, "Whatever you say."
Rage was starting to build up in me. I clenched my jaw. "Why don't you leave me alone instead of torturing me? It's already obvious that you already hate me, so why don't you get the memo that I hate you?"
He laughed. All he did was laugh. "You're more fun than I could ever imagine. My friends and I are going to have a great time with you."
This boy is officially pushing me through hell.
