Chapter 7

Francy comes out of the bathroom with a towel "Wait aren't you and Gabriel dancers together or something?" Camila huffs "eww Gabriel" "what's wrong with Gabriel?" "He's been texting and stalking me and trying to hook up since middle school" My face turns red with anger. "What's wrong Jermaine?" I'm ready to kill that bastard. "Jermaine what is it?" She asks me with a look of worry on her face which makes me immediately calm myself "It was nothing i just need to go" I get up and start heading toward the door "Wait!!" I open the door an turn to see what she wants. "Can i at least get your number so we can catch up or something" "Sure, give me your phone ill put it in for you" She hands me her phone and i put it in. I start heading out the door and she jumps up "Wait". I already made it halfway to my car and I turn again "Lemme put mine in" I hand her my phone and she puts it in. "Isn't that what you wore for graduation?" "Yea i love vests like this, an I thought I'd wear something you'd remember" "whats so memorable about graduation other than the ceremony?" "Well, it's the last time you hugged me before school ended" "Wow" "Maybe...you know...if you want we...could catchup..." "Sure" The fact that she could read me that easily even after all these years just brightens my mood entirely. A smile finds its way on our faces before I turn to leave. Wow i can't believe i just scored a date with my dream girl, i mean seriously I tried so hard in middle school but never succeeded. Wait...I'm still in her driveway, i start the car and drive off home. While on my drive i get a text, the contact name is Camila "Dream" Cadiz, the text reads "Pick me up at 7:00 and I'll let you know where to go from there 😉"
