Chapter 18

We take a seat on the chairs that are so close to each other that they are nearly touching and stare up at the night sky, I look over at her smiling and starring up and lose myself in a trance remembering all the times she let go of the thought of not wanting me to like her and just smiling at my jokes and remembering how she loved to be in control of the group projects that we had together "Isn't it beautiful?" Me being stuck in a trance I don't realize what I'm about to say "Yeah, you are" I snap out of my trance and she sits up with a smile on her face "I mean it is, the sky is beaut-" she interrupts me by teasing me "You could never stop hitting on me, even if it required a soccer ball" "Hey I said sorry for that and I you know I didn't mea-" I forgot how close the chairs were but she reminds me by kissing me in the middle of my millionth apology for hitting her with a soccer ball at school. We separate and she just made one of my wishes come true without me asking. "Sorry, was that weird?" "No no, it was....the best" "Really because that was my first kiss kinda" She blushes as she confesses and I can't help but think it's cute "Wait really, It was?" She looks more confident now "Yeah, lets just say you aren't the only one who was saving themselves" "Wow" Now the tables have turned and I'm the one blushing and she the one in control. We both resume star gazing and we see a shooting star "Oh look a shooting star quick make a wish" We both make our wishes quietly to ourselves "So what did you wish for?" God I love her enthusiasm "I wished that I hope I never have to say goodbye to you ever again" "What about you, what did you wish for?" "I wished that all dogs that are being tested on and used for experimentation would be placed in homes with loving families" She cares so much about animals especially dogs "I know it sounds nerdy and all but I cant help but worry about dogs, I love them so much I wish I could just run a hotel for dogs so they an live there and be taken care of by only the best of care takers" "Like the movie hotel for dogs" "Oh my god I love that movie, so since we are on the topic of dogs whats you favorite breed of dog?" "Well if I was single I would love to have a Husky and in a relationship a Beagle" "Why does it matter if your in a relationship or not?" "Because with a husky its fluffy enough to attract women and it has the same badas- I mean protective instincts as a german shepherd and they are easily trained" "Wow you really thought about that didn't you?" "Kinda sorta" We finally stop talking and just look at the stars.
