Chapter 9

I arrive at Camila's house,go to the door and knock. Francy answers the door with spiderman pjs on "Hey future BIL" "What's BIL?" "Oh it's Brother In Law" "Oh" I'm flattered she would say such a thing. "Cmon Camila he's here!" "I'm putting my shoes on!" A couple seconds later we see Camila come out in a light brown sweat shirt with light blue jeans and gray and purple sketchers just like middle school but this time it's different, its a date and she's wearing the turtle necklace i gave her the last day of school while i was suspended, right before she said the last thing she had ever said to me, "Thanks Love" I will always remember that moment because i made her smile without hitting on her or even saying a word. Tears rush to my eyes again making me embarrassed "What is it bad, you want me to change?" "No it's....perfect" I wipe my tears and suck up my emotions and open the door "Shall we?" "We shall" She goes outside towards the car and i quickly follow behind her. Before she reaches the car i go ahead and open the door for her "Malady" i say with a smile "thank you kind sir" she returns an equally bright smile. I go around and get in the car and start it "So, where to?" "Lets go to-" "Any where you want" "A movie" "Movie it is" I drive us to the local small theater instead of the big one because i don t feel like dealing with a bunch of people. I park and we get out and walk to the theater, I open the door for her "Thank you sir" "Anything for you" We walk to the ticket line and get tickets for some chick flick she wanted to watch that starts in 15 minutes. "Since you payed for the tickets I'm paying for the snacks" "No, as the man i am supposed to pay for everything on the dates" We walk to the snack stand "What would you like malady?" "I'll get a sour patch and snickers" the worker gets what she asked for and comes back "Anything else for you guys?" "Do you want a slushy or a soda or something?" She doesn't respond, she's just staring at a wall "Camila....Camila" "Ah, sorry i was having a Camila moment, what were you saying?" "What kind of drink would you like" "Oh I'll have a blueberry slushy" "Make that two please" the worker goes and gets our drink and comes back with them "So i have two blueberry slushys and a snickers and a sour patch, that will bring your total to 16.75" I pay the man and We grab our stuff and head to the hall of theaters. We reach the ticket handler and hand her our tickets, I recognize her from somewhere, wait thats kaitlyn from middle school. "Hey did you go to CRMA for middle school" "Yea why?" Camila recognizes her finally "Oh my goodness kaitlyn!!" She doesn't recognize us yet "Kaitlyn its me Camila and Jermaine from middle school, remember?" "Oh yeah I remember, wow I didn't think I'd see the day you two went on a date" I'm not sure what she meant about that "Well we got a movie to see so what theater is it?" "Oh theater number 13" "Lucky number 13" She's so bright and joyful saying that and i love that. We go to theater number 13 and take our seats.
