RECAP;
"Is it because I killed them?" Duncan asked me suddenly. "Is that why you don't want me?"
"Killed who?"
He cocked his head to the side, staring at me curiously. "You don't know?" he asked, slowly, grinning.
"I'm the one that killed your parents."
"You..." I breathed, string at him. I felt like a five year old girl. My training, my fighting, everything flew out the window. The man before me had killed...
My...
Parents...
"NO." I whispered, shaking my head hard. "NO!"
"Yes, Kat. I did it because I love you, Kitten. Without them we can be together!" he said, tenderly, moving toward me. "No! NO NO NO!" I shrieked, and turned. Next thing I knew, I'd jumped out the window.
The water hit my flesh, and I impacted hard, enough to rattle my bones. I assumed the FBI would be able to gather information from the wrecked drive of my iPod. But all I cared a bout was getting the hell out.

***CHAPTER 17***
Right, I thought to myself sarcastically. Because diving out a window was SO going to get you away from the bad guys.
At that point I was hiding beneath a wooden picnic table at the other side of the lake.
So smart. The aria was being run down with Duncan's guys, and it would only be a few minutes before they found me. Okay, game plan;
The venue was set up perfectly; green grass everywhere, and a slope that lead upwards to the car park. The slope had a bunch of assorted trees. There was a small café on the right, and they had some wine and whisky bottles in the window. Next to that was a small window shop with assorted sunglasses, suntan lotions, a few aerosol cans, hats, t-shirts, cigarettes, lighters, disposable cell phones and post cards.
Ding, ding, ding! Idea. I quietly snuck from my hiding spot, melting in with the tourists and the kids. There were quite few. Using skills that an old Gypsy friend of mine taught me, I stole two t-shirts, a hat, sunglasses, seven aerosol cans, four bottles of whisky, three lighters, and a bottle of tanning oil. I was hiding behind a dumpster as I concocted my plan. I was wearing one of the t-shirts, and my still blonde hair was tucked into the hat, with sunglasses. I ripped the other t-shirt into strips. I bound the aerosol cans together in twos, using the strips leaving one can.
I picked up two whisky bottles and walked along the outer rim of the grass, up to where it lead to a parking lot. I turned the bottles over, leaving a long, thin stream of alcohol in the grass. I stopped, gathering as many branches and leaves laying them just on the other side of the alcohol. I made sure that I made the trees intersect my stream. The thin stream went right up to my dumpster hiding spot. Using the last two bottles, I made a stream from my hiding spot to a huge circular spot in the middle that resembled a puddle.
I picked up my aerosol bundled as stood in the open.
"HEY NIMRODS!!!" I yelled, and all the guards turned my way. I pulled off the hat and the glasses. "COME GET ME!"
They all started running. Three, two.... Now!
I switched on the lighter and let it fall, landing in the whisky stream. There was a whoosh before all hell broke loose. The grass started burning, and it created chaos in my puddle of flaming whisky, where the guys were standing. I watched as the flames raced along the grass to the tree line.
I threw one aerosol bundle into the middle of the puddle where every guard was standing. As the cans landed in the flaming alcohol, they exploded, the can turning into deadly flying pieces of shrapnel. I heard screaming and threw the other two bundles forward, turning before they exploded.
