RECAP;
"I recognized that detonator."
I raised my brow further skyward. "A kid in one of the universities around here makes them. We've been trying to put him away for some time, but he keeps coming out clean."
"Right, I'm gonna go check this out, see if our pal, Lance here," I tapped the file, "Knows anything about Duncan." I said to Amy.
Lance was on his back, on his bed, with a girl on top of him. She had long, pin straight white blond hair. Her frame looked around 5'6, her skin pale and oddly familiar. The room was painted the same beige with two beds in and an open door to the left that lead to a walk in closet. Posters were on the walls and an old computer sat in one corner.
The opening of the door had the couple springing apart. I saw now that the girl had big, blue eyes. "Oh my God." she breathed, staring at me.
I looked at her like she was a mental case.
"Hey dude, I'm dying. That paper on abnormal Psyche is due today and if I don't-" a voice came from behind me, I turned and saw a girl of about 5'3 with a curly mass of chocolate brown hair pulled into a bun and secured through the middle with a pencil. Her brown eyes were wide and innocent, her body slender but curvy, her skin a rich caramel in color. She seemed Latina.
She ranted on as she ran through the room, dropping papers from the stack. "Liah, I think I've lost it." The skinny blond whispered, still staring at me with wide eyes, while clearly addressing the Latina woman.
"T, while you are loosing your mind I may be loosing a passing grade!" The Latin woman said, before cursing in Spanish.
"Liah, please tell me I'm not crazy." the blond breathed, staring at me.
What the hell?
"Chica, if you were, I'd write my paper on you."
"Come on, Liah, look!"
"What?" The Latin girl asked, her back turned.
"I THINK I'M STARING AT KATRINA VEYNOX!" The blond screamed suddenly
"Oh my Gosh, it IS you!" The blond yelled, running toward me. Instinct took over, and I ended up pinning her to the wall. She let out an ungodly pitched squeak.
"Who are you?" I growled irritated.
"Its me!" she squealed. "Tiff! We were in high school together and Liah, and Lance. We were, like, friends!" She cried, and I immediately dropped her.
What, exactly, was going on here? This was worse than one of those reunions people are always complaining about. Those high school reunions that everyone complains about and gets ready for? Yea... those...

**CHAPTER 22**
"Wow, so you're really a lawyer?" Liah asked, her mouth open. "Yea, Civil Law." I replied. It wasn't the most creative cover I'd ever used, but it worked.
I'd had many covers before, but I needed one fast to make Liah and Tiff believe I was your average 22 year old woman.
"I seriously thought you were going to go into dancing." Tiff said with a sweet smile. Her stick straight, blond hair was up in a messy bun, her blue eyes sparkling, and I could remember why it was so easy to be friends with her.
"Yea, you were amazing! Our Drama teachers Pride and joy." Liah chimed in.
"Oh! Do you remember Romeo and Juliet in English class?" Liah asked, suddenly, giggling so her loose mass of curls fluttered. "You were the bomb with that."
