After so long.... IM BACK BABY!!!
Recap;
"The Illuminati." Mark suddenly blurted. "The all seeing eye, its them. He Alumni code was passed down from member to member." Marks eyes widened as Amy started nearing the knife to his crotch. His voice became squeaky as he continued to talk, fast. "When someone in the Illuminati dies, that person is supposed to leave behind the Alumni code, for the Alumni that will become pat of the Illuminati. This Duncan guy wants the code because he was the previous leader's second. And Lance wants the code too. So they think that it has something to do with someone named Kat. I-I don't know w-w-who she is but I-I-I know they think she has the co-code." he choked. Amy still had the flame on the blade, now dangerously close to his man parts. Close enough that I was betting he could feel the heat.
My mother was in the Illuminati? The all seeing eye that had the so called 'POWER' to influence the world to do their own bidding?
Damn it.
"Guys, I think I know where the alumni code is." I whispered, my brain having had an explosion that moment.
"Really?" my perked up from the couch. "Yes." I slowly lifted a silver chain, and on the end sat a drop emerald....

***CHAPTER 28***
"Aiiieee!" Was the scream I was woken with. I sat bolt up right, my hair plastered to my face with sweat, my skin all damp and two guns pointed out directly in front of me.
The nightmare was unfamiliar but terrifying all the same. Myself in a house dress, about ten years older, two kids, a white picket fence and James as a husband while I was a stay at home mom. Horrifying.
Cameron was lying on the floor looking in great pain, while Amy got up from the bed, fuming. "Don't you EVER try to sidle into bed with me again, or I swear, I'll turn you into a woman using my favorite Panga!"
Cameron scurried up fast, grabbing his boxers off the floor to cover up his nakedness as he bolted with the appropriate speed. He ran out our cheap motel room door, blushing bright red.
There was a minute of silence. "He's gone, why are the guns still up?" Amy asked. I whipped my head toward her, and she was right. Slowly, I unlocked my elbows, my thumbs going to the hammers of the guns, and I raised them. I un-cocked them and put them back beneath my pillow. Slowly, I stood and began to pace.
"Speak." Amy commended. It was as if she'd turned the faucet to unleash a storm.
"HE WANTS A HOUSEWIFE!" I cried, whipping to look at her as she sat there in her blood red lingerie. It was still dark, and I figured the time to be around one a.m.
"He wants that whole white picket fence, modern suburban housewife of the 50's! When ever he says something even relatively related to the future, like what he's going to get us for breakfast, I have 'I Love Lucy' flashbacks!" I cried, running my hands roughly through my knotted and cold sweat dampened hair. Amy crossed her legs and cocked her head as she sat on the bed.
"I cant do that, Aims, and you know it! Its like a horror movie! I feel like screaming and pulling my hair out." I cried loudly, suddenly stopping and folding my legs together as I fell to the floor in a crossed legs position, threading my fingers through my hair and hanging my head.
"You now its not really about James, don't you?" she asked gently after the silence.
I groaned.
"I know its not. I know that I'm afraid to bring him into my life and I'm trying to find things that don't make me feel selfish." I whispered. I'd taken psychology, I understood.
"I cant tell him that he cant be with me because he's not good enough. He cant live the life I do. He'd die. It's a combination of natural born talent. He wouldn't be able to do black opps. He wouldn't!" I growled.
"Not to mention that you wouldn't let him." Amy commented dryly.
"Of course I wouldn't! Flying daggers and bullets, a million ways to die? No, not ever." I said, and sighed. The thing was, James and I couldn't get together unless he manned up or I manned down. And the latter sure as hell wasn't going to happen.
It wasn't about the picket fence, or the housewife. It was about the fact that James couldn't handle the life I lead. And would NEVER force him to, because that could be considered homicide. It would kill him.
I couldn't do this. WE couldn't do this.
Go spy. I thought. I'm built for this. We're just going to end the exact same way we did five years ago. Why prolong it? I couldn't and shouldn't.
"What is the objective." I asked, looking up at Amy, my tone dropping three octaves below freezing cold. "Take down the Gang and Duncan. The Illuminati thing is really your choice." she said, hearing my tone.
"When the operation is complete?"
"We get reassigned. New identities, new names, new jobs." she said, bowing her head toward me. I looked at her.
James and I didn't stand a fighting chance. And as of now, I decided it was over.
I rose, looking at her.
"We have a job to finish. Lets go." I walked to the wardrobe, dragging out the biggest blade we owned. A Panga. I hauled it up, pressing my cheek to the butt, and looking down the blade.
I turned my head and looked at her. "Emerald, are you sure you want to follow your job? You could follow him." she asked, or implored. I just looked at her.
"No. He cant be a part of our world, and I wont make him a part of it. He should just stay out all together. Its decided." I growled, setting the gun down. I stepped fast to the bathroom, slamming the door before I showered. Everything began to feel monotone. I was cutting him out, and he was going to stay out. After showering, I got into my best all black clothing, pulling my hair up and grabbing a elastic to keep my hair back tightly. I walked out and Amy stood next to Dimitri, their outfits matching mine. I looked at him and he looked back.
Dimitri understood.
"Have Sheila sent back to Russia. Call Langley and tell them to have a new assignment ready for me by next week." I ordered. He nodded sharply, his eyes stone cold.
"Plan?" Amy asked, her voice, flat and devoid of accent. She was back to being a clone.
"Kill everyone of the close heads to the gang, leave Duncan for just me." I informed. Taking my Panga, I moved off.
