RECAP;
"That's for you. It what she left behind." Amy's platinum blond hair was up and she was wearing a t-shirt and jeans.
"Though, I don't think she would have left you anything if she knew what sort of sorry sodd your acting like." she said, rinsing her nose in the air arrogantly. I felt a spark of anger, and decided to put it out with another sip from the bottle.
"Why are you still here." I asked, bringing the bottel up for another swig.
"I have a question." she replied, folding her arms.
"Ask it, and get out." I growled, taking another sip.
"Did you love her?"
The subject change had me choking on a mouthful of the drink. "What?" I rasped out when I'd caught my breath.
"It's a simple question. Did you love her?" she asked.
"She's told me that she left a love behind but she didn't elaborate. Watching you two for the past while, think I filled in all the blanks." she informed me dryly. "Now answer the question."
I shook my head at her, lifting the bottle. I was planning on chugging it until she threw onto the ground, crushing it with her foot. "Hey," I growled, my anger rising.
"ANSWER THE BLOODY QUESTION!" She yelled at me, showing some emotion.
"Why should I." I snarled back.
"Because I want to know if she was wasting her time!" she hissed.
"Every time, while we were training she was upset, crying, contemplating suicide!" she yelled, getting into my face.
"Until right before we went into the seminar where they taught us to hide our emotions. When she gave me the contents of that box," she jabbed a finger toward the cardboard box on the floor, "And told me to hide it so no one could find it. And if she died, she gave me a name and a picture. Yours and you!" she hissed.
"She told me that when she died, I had to find you and give that to you. She said it was the stuff she was giving away, her emotions! NOW ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION SO I KNOW IF I WAS WASTING MY TIME SO I CAN JUST BURN THAT BOX RIGHT NOW!" she yelled.
The silence hung in the air. Dead silence.
"Leave." I whispered, and I felt tears run down my face. "If you think I didn't love her. Still do. You think I don't care. Just. Leave."
Amy glared at me hatefully before she turned and marched out.
I slammed the door behind her, and fell to my knees by the box. I opened the top and pulled out something I hadn't seen in five years, something I thought I'd lost.
My black leather biker jacket.
I felt in the left pocket, and there it was. A hair clip with a blue rhinestone on it. I remembered it. She left it in my pocket after the first time she rode with me on my bike.
And right at the bottom of the box, something I didn't remember, was a copy of a novel. I looked at the cover and almost passed out from the pain.
The cover read three words.
Romeo and Juliet.

***CHAPTER 12***
JAMES.
"I don't want to be here." I growled, pulling at my tie. "I don't care." Amy snapped. Around each other, we walked on thin ice, each angering the other beyond recognition.
