"So, I checkedtwitter, facebook and instagram and Ididn't see a single text or picture of the two of you getting married. Thereare pictures of you holding hands and in those... dresses but nobody seems tohave noticed your rings yet; oh wait, you're not wearing them in those picturesyet. Did you actually manage to sneak away from the paps and fans after thewedding?"
"You know, I'm alittle bummed out we couldn't watch you," Jesy huffed and sat down next toPerrie.
"What do youmean!?" Perrie shrieked and shook her head. "Jade and I aren't even a couple oranything. I don't even know how we got that stupid idea that we should getmarried. God, why does Vegas seduce people like that?"
"I'm sure thewedding can be cancelled," Leigh offered and smiled at the blonde. "And it'snot so bad, I mean, we all know you and Jade aren't together. It was just astupid prank idea, I s'pose."
"Yah..." Perriesighed and shook her head. "You know what, I am going to get myself somethingto eat in the lobby now. I'm starving and I threw up everything inside of meearlier. I need to get something inside again and it won't be alcohol for thenext forty years."
"Can I come withyou?" Jade asked timidly. The three other girls blinked at her as if they hadforgotten she was there too. To be fair, the brunette hadn't uttered a singlesyllable since Perrie had announced their marriage. It didn't surprise her thatthe other girls forgot her presence.
The blondepursed her lips before she sighed and nodded.
"Are you mad atme?" Jade asked silently as they walked down the hall to the lift.
Perrie shook herhead. "No, it's just... I'm a little confused. I don't know why we even gotmarried in the first place." She shrugged and pressed the button that wouldbring them to the first floor, where the lobby was.
"I thought youwere mad at me because you were pushing me away earlier. I thought I'd donesomething to you yesterday that upset you and now I couldn't remember. Pleasedon't push me away again without an explanation."
Perrie shook herhead and sighed, entwining her fingers with her friend's. "Sorry 'bout that. Ijust thought you could remember and were... I don't know, I thought you didn'tmind we were married." Jade felt instantly relaxed with Perrie's warm hand inhers and smiled slightly.
"I think you'reput off by the idea a bit more. Just because we're married at the momentdoesn't mean we have to do stuff married people do. I have a question, though..."She felt her cheeks heat and knew immediately that she was blushing. "Wedidn't... have a wedding night, did we?"
Perrie giggledlightly and shook her head, "No, don't worry. Do you always get a blackoutafter you went partying?"
Jade shruggedand a smile crept onto her face, lighting up her entire features. The lift cameto a halt and the girls jumped apart subconsciously as two girls stood in frontof the doors. "Oh my God, Jade and Perrie!" One of them scream-whispered.
The two singerssmiled awkwardly and looked at each other for a second. "Hi, there, girls."Almost instinctively Jade reached out for the phone that was handed to her andregretted it immediately. The girl who had given her the phone let out a loudgasp and stared at the ring that was shining still as brightly as before on herring finger. "So you want a pic?" Perrie asked and tried to avert the attentionaway from Jade's wedding ring.
The girls lookedat each other and then nodded, standing between the married couple. Jade shookher head as the thought crossed her mind – calling herself and Perrie a marriedcouple sounded extremely weird but she couldn't bring herself to care as muchas she probably should.
"Can you takethe picture?" The ginger girl asked Perrie, who bit her lip.
"Uh, I'm notvery good at doing it with the left hand, as weird as it sounds," she murmuredbut the girl said it didn't matter and Perrie internally cursed herself as shereached out her hand as well. The ring was too bright in the dazzling lights ofthe lobby and the two girls couldn't possibly ignore it.
